does not mean that I am a cardinals fan fan. Over the years this board has gotten bigger and bigger with a great variety of personalities. I respect all of you as Cardinal fans but I don't necessarily respect the way that everyone communicates. I find it odd that people can be disrespectful, rude, sarcastic and condescending in their rebuttal of an idea.

I don't care if you disagree but why is it O.K. to utilize the aforementioned methodology to get your point across. I would rather you call me a moron than rudely or sarcastically demean an opinion. This happens quite often. The majority would never make statements like this within physical presence of others but do so on this board. It is just flat out annoying. No, I am not taking my ball and going home. Just so you know before those comments start to pour out.

Agreed------the sarcasm and the condescending replies have NO place in this forum. Read the sticky prior to the first new post. This place was created to provide an exchange of ideas and thoughts, not for demeaning anyone or anyone's ideas. That is exactly why MOST of the respondents come to this board. It was not intended to provide cannon fodder for a few who seek to find fault with everything that one or two posters choose to enter.

Totally agree.

There are times I'm reading posts and all I want to do is say, "You, you and you. Go to your rooms. Now!"

Please, people, can we appreciate that we are going to disagree? There are all types of people and fans here. The least we can do is try and be civil to one another.

Can't count the number of posts I quit reading because of this very thing (and I'm pretty good at math).......

The ignore feature works great with the people who are like that.

Fortunately we don't have too many people who feel like they have to type in those tones.

It's what makes this board better than most.

You can bet that ANYTHING I say to you on here I would say right in front of you. Just an FYI.

good for you. See, you took that as if I were saying that people are not man enough to say what they say to my face. That is not the point. If we were at a table and I was saying that I had a thought that people were hating on Dockett and were mistaken in their interpretation of what he was twittering about. I doubt you would respond with, "So what was your thought?". Maybe you would but that is why we won't sit at the same table.

I agree 95% of the time. There's 5% of the time when people need to grow some stones and take it like they dish it.

+1

Also, sometimes people need to hear about how dumb their idea is when they post the same thing multiple times in like 30 different threads. Like the McNabb being the Cardinals' QB next season.

Please stop crying, Chief. You spend as much time insulting people as anyone on this board. For some reason you get upset when people respond to you in a similar manner than what you addressed them in. FWIW, anyone here who knows me would most assuredly tell you I'd have no problem whatsoever in telling you this in person. Just post and intake what you like, you can't take this place too seriously.

Unfortunately people cannot decipher between an insult and a disagreement. Telling someone to stop crying is provocative. Telling someone you disagree with how they communicate is an opinion. I don't expect people to understand the difference.

And the in person thing. You and Shane responded by puffing the chest and making sure your manhood wasn't questioned. Again, you misread things and that is where I have a problem. For the first time in my life, ignore may be in order.

If you don't expect people to understand the difference, then not only was this thread idea pointless, but provocative.

You guys need to work this out. I shouldn't have to babysit.
