AWESOME! Byrd was a bit of a disappointment because I expected him to contribute, but AWESOME to have Monty back!

Many of us wanted Monty back weeks ago. I'm glad the Cardinals finally did it. :)

Good move by the Redbirds

Why waste a roster spot (Byrd) on a guy you are never going to use or activate. TE has never been a very productive position in an Warner offense

I wonder why Haley cut him?

When you are building a team, and the current season is down the toilet, it doesn't make much sense to go with a role-playing vet over a young guy. Plus, he had a pretty good screw up in one game, IIRC.

Who sits to get Monty into the game? Doucet? Will Davis?

Reggie Walker most likely. He has actually been active the last few weeks.

Plus they probably want a heavy rotation at the LB spot the next few weeks to help stay fresh against C. Johnson and Peterson. Now they can feel better about, at least more so then asking Reggie Walker to do it.

Yes I've not been the biggest of Beisel fans due to his lack of tackles per season but its a GREAT move while we have Gerald Hayes with a very bad back and Karlos Dansby has a very bad shoulder and Chike Okeafor has a very, very, very bad back.(I want to know whats really wrong)I'm concerned its a disc.

We had 13 players on the injury list last week and most were on a limited practice schedule as it might surprise you Michael Adams was one of those on a limited basis due to injury yet still played like he did vs the rams.Kudos to you Adams.Thats the way to play pro ball.Bulger never could throw a fade route anyway.Be glad...:D

I'm worried about our tackling CB in Bryant McFadden who had an ankle last week and added a knee this week to the ankle. That scares me for the upcoming playoffs.Wonder if we'll see Adams again this week? Not looking good if we have too.Love the lil' mans effort in a big mans game. He's more than fiesty.

Gandy is still playing hurt and so is A-Dub with a groin injury.

So we are not as BLESSED as we were last season staying healthy. This is gonna be a war to keep this team together though these next three playoff type atmosphere games. Two on National Prime Time.

Will it even matter to give those guys rest during the leftover rams.lions&packers games?

I fully believe the Jags and US finish off the 9ers for the year.

I'm sure coach Whiz would like to see if we can beat the titans and vikes and see if the Bengals can beat the vikes the next week in Minnesota with the Bengals getting Cedric Benson back. The Bengals defense can play when they are motivated.4 wins against the steelers&ravens this year.

So Lets see if both the vikings and CARDINALS end the season with a tied record. The vikes also play the giants before the season is over, the last game.Forcing them not to rest but play a playoff game to keep thier record. We could slip in with a tie breaker into a bye.

I know you're saying Doug you need to take out the Koolaid IV but I think we can do it if we have our players playing.Maybe the offense has to score all the way into the fourth quarter and not give Leinart playing time in some of those games. It can be done though.Put up a TON of points and then keep pouring it on.Unlike anything we've done so far this year.Don't call off the dogs coach Whiz.

Warner has played MANY a game in nawlins.Playoff game,Superbowl game and loss both.Besides the many regular season games he played and won in there. He knows what it takes. Both playoff games were only lost by 3 points each time.

Warner did'nt have Fitzgerald,Boldin and Breaston when he played there before. The saints have a crummy left tackle that can be taken advantage of by Dockett.....Bigtime.His name is bushrod. So we have to cover 4 wide recievers a tight end in Shockey and Reggie Bush the speedster along with the regular backs.NO PROBLEM:D All while they're screaming WHO DAT!!!

Very nice to see Monty return. I like Highsmith on special teams, but I don't think he's a proper fit for this defense.

good signing... Byrd was a waste of roster space with 3 other TE's better than him.

Byrd never got a chance which was very disappointing to me but we need help inside at LB.

Titans game should be as good as time as ever for the backup secondary players to get some additonal playing time. Justin Gage is decent but outside of that I can't even name any of Tenn. recievers.

Great news. This move makes our team much stronger, and much improved.

Beisel fits with this team well, and plays our ILB position very well.

He is also good on special teams.

If Byrd was really progressing he would have had a shot by now.

DOUBLE Hoooray.

We re-signed Jason Banks to the practice squad. I am a big fan of this guy. Yeah, I know he isn't anything special but he can at least get a good push off the line and take up blockers. Plus he can play NT and DE. Good to have since Dykes is hurt.

YESSSSSS---another backer in to help absorb the pounding that our backers will take during the remaining games on our playoff run. Any help we can give that bunch is welcome indeed, and Beisel is a solid back-up. I love that the organization appears to be exploring the entire situation, to put us into the best position to win. I also like that they chose to cut Byrd, not because I don't like him, but because they weren't using him anyway, and his slot was just being wasted. If Spach for some reason doesn't hold up, they can always bring Byrd back in to replace Spach.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw Beisel was signed. The new guys just seem to get it better than any group we've ever had in Arizona. They make mistakes in judging personnel just like every other NFL team but the moves they make usually don't leave you scratching your head as to why.
