If the team doesn't give up, and the defense can
continue to play tough football, I still believe this
team can WIN 7 or 8 games this year .... I do ...
If they can win 1 of the next 2 (either the Saints this
weekend or at SF) they are 1-4 at the break ...
Obviously any game could be won, but I think these
games are the most likely for the Cards to win ... with a
good bounce of the ball here and there ... and some good coaching ...
At Miami (they're really not very good either...they really miss Williams, and the defense is looking "old" to me)
Giants at Home (Giants will crumble in the 2nd half of the year - the Cards could be seeing Eli by then)
Jets at Home (Long way to travel and they will be weary after playing Baltimore and travelling to Cleveland the week before - 2 weeks on the road is tough...Jets are a good team though....)
at Detroit (Denny's played 'em there many times ... I think he'll know how to get the team ready. the Lions are better this year, but certainly beatable)
49ers at Home (the 49ers are as bad as the Cards ... we should be them at home)
Rams at Home (Martz is already under fire for his play calling, Bulger looks shakey at times, they are likely to be 6-7, or even 5-8 by the time they get here ... they may not care by then)
Bucs at Home (season's over for both teams - no playoffs - who cares .... Cards WIN)
That's 7 games after the Bye .... who knows ... if the team
is able to finish 7-9, or even 8-8 it will be considered a miracle
coaching job by Denny ... and a good "start" going into 05.
