Hey Guys,

The Bellowing Moose weekly article is in on NBCSports.com. This week he analyzes how our Coyotes have gotten this bad. Good stuff. Link

Not a very good article in my opinion, but thanks for posting it anyways. It is true that their drafting has been bad, but the one example he brought up (Sjostrom), has been one of their best choices. Barnett actually has a pretty good trade record, and it has gotten better as time has gone on. Briere for Gratton was bad (although Briere was a problem child here), but the writer neglects to mention that Gratton was shipped off with Vaananen in exchange for both Morris and Ballard. No mention of getting Reinprecht and Sauve for Boucher and LeClerc, or Michalek for Westrum, or Scatchard for Tanabe.

As for their free agent signings, they have managed to dump the underperformers like Nedved, so nothing gained nothing lost there. Sean O'Donnell was a decent signing, and Roenick and Nolan aren't bad for the cash they are making. Its the Jovo signing that is looking horrendous.

I don't really follow the team much, and even I knew that many of the trades mentioned brought back pretty good players.
