It looks like Davis going to start on Friday, Webb on Saturday and Haren on Sunday, so Dan pitching two innings won't be that bad.

Seems like Hurdle has something against the D-backs. He would not name the NL MOY to his staff, which say what you will about Melvin, that's an insult. Hurdle said he wanted to go with the pitcher that won the players vote. It would have been a good story for Haren to start two All-Star Games in a row for different leagues. I wonder if Hurdle holds something against Arizona after the tantrum the fans had during the NLCS last year after that play at second base.

I wanted to see Volquez start. How cool would that have been to see him pitch against Hamilton (the guy he was traded for) in the All-Star game?

Well, although I would have liked to see Haren start, I can understand if he doesn't. He needs the rest anyways. Hopefully if he does pitch, its not too much.
