Defensive end Mike Green was the star of the show at Marshall's Pro Day Monday, including posting an extremely impressive 6.85 three-cone drill. But there was another name that also could be of interest for the Cincinnati Bengals in next month's draft.

The Bengals met with safety J.J. Roberts, a potential Day 3 pick. Roberts ran a 4.41 40-yard dash Monday and posted a 6.76 three-cone drill.

Roberts recorded 94 tackles and 14 passes defended in 2024 for Marshall. Those 14 passes defended led the Sun Belt. Raion Strader (Miami-Ohio) led the nation with 17. Roberts played in 55 games across five seasons (two at Marshall, three at Wake Forest), recording 213 tackles, three interceptions and 25 passes defended.

The Bengals are hoping to finally hit on their draft picks in the secondary. Roberts could be a potential depth piece and developmental option late in the draft.
