Not intending to "steal any under" from Ryan's "Best Bass Riffs" thread, but I've been meaning to post the "Best Drumming Performance" for awhile.....
I'm not necessarily referring to the best solos, however, more of a song that featured a steady beat all throughout, but solos could be included...
I'll list five of my favorites for now:
1) "50 Ways To Leave Your Lover" Steve Gadd (Paul Simon)
2) "Hold The Line" Jeff Porcaro (Toto)
3) "Instant Karma" Alan White (John Lennon Plastic Ono Band)
4) "I Don't Care Anymore" Phil Collins
5) "Cobwebs & Strange" & "The Ox" Keith Moon (The Who) (so many to select)
There are so many of course, but had to limit myself for now.....
