I'll probably receive some criticism for the first one:

Michael Douglas & Robert Duvall- Falling Down
Jack Nicholson- Hoffa
Robert De Niro & Wesley Snipes- The Fan
Michael Pare'- Eddie & The Cruisers (1 & 2)
Emilio Estevez- War At Home
Phil Daniels- Quadrophenia
Every performance in "The Diner", a very under-appreciated movie
Stephen Dorff & Ian Hart- Backbeat
Brendan Fraser- School Ties
Shawn Hatosy- Outside Providence

Sorry for a long-list...I can never just put down one on anything....

That's too bad, Cable Guy is a very underrated movie and underrated performance by Jim Carrey. He's brilliant in the movie.

I agree Chap. The Cable Guy is a hilarious film. And its the role that made me decide Jim Carey is a legit actor. He played the hilariously dark role so well. I actually went out and bought it last night. Strange coincidence. I hadnt seen it in a while and decided it was time again.

Definitely my least favorite Coen Brothers movie, but I must admit, the acting is pretty stellar all around.

Id have to give that to "The Man that Knew Too Little" I wanted to like it so bad, becasue IM a HUGE COen Bros fan, and maybe I need to watch it again, but I was so bored in that film. It just never semed to go anywhere.

I can understand that, but I actually really liked "The Man Who Wasn't There" (Man who Knew too Little is a great Bill Murray movie!), mainly for the acting, which is terrific, and the awesome cinematography.

I thought the cinematograaphy was insane and the first 45 minutes of "Wasn't There" were awesome but the movie seemed to drift a bit for me after - much like their last three movies - O Brother and especially Lebowski - I still can't figure out why so many die-hard Coen brothers fans swear by the Big L religiously. Personally - are any of you Coen brother fans scared of Intolerable Cruelty - I am - it just looks like such a commercial steaming pile of crap - like an assignment or something - if I'm not mistaken, it is a re-written script by the Coens - right Chap?

Don't know, haven't heard too much about it. But the Coens doing a romantic comedy? I don't know about that...

The Astronauts Wife was a real turd.

I have a total man crush on Johnny Depp, too. That movie stunk.

have any of you seen the movie called FAILSAFE? its a really old movie about the paranoia during the cold war and with nuclear warfare. its really good but its main problem was that it came out at the same time as Dr. Strangelove (which is good as well but is more of a satire about nuclear warfare while failsafe was more of a drama) so i think that it got overlooked at the time it came out.

Yeah, I think that was with Henry Fonda.

They made a remake of it a couple years ago that was live on television with George Clooney, I believe.

I haven't seen either of them.
