Ate at Cocina Madrigal last night. One of my families favorites! At one time they were rated number one restaurant in the whole United States. Really! My wife gets the mushroom enchiladas which are literally the best thing on the menu. Salsa is excellent. Guacamole is great. My nephew had the chicken enchiladas and he said they were literally the best enchiladas he's ever had.

The best taco I’ve ever had was a beef tenderloin taco from Cocina Madrigal

Cocina Madrigal! Almost 5 stars on Yelp. Food is great! My family really enjoys it! I had many coworkers steer me there!

We still haven't made it out there, but it's on our list. I hope the damage wasn't too severe.

I saw that yesterday. It’s a bummer for sure. Just glad no one was hurt. I’ll go back and support them once they reopen

My wife texted me that today The best Mexican Seafood place we were found in the Valley closed. Dao we are feeling a bit of a jinx currently.

Went to El Encanto in Cave Creek with a friend from L.A. a couple of nights ago. Excellent, as usual, and the place was jammed. I’d guess one in five customers orders the pollo fundido.

So much cheese. Lots of cheese. Tons o’ cheese.
A favorite of mine at a favorite of mine

We started picking up at the original location in 1980. We only had 1/2 hour for lunch so one person would go and pick up lunch for a group of us. Mmmmmmmmm.
That is the location I always went to 20 years ago. Then I discovered the 7th St location accidentally a few years ago

16th Street between Thomas and McDowell has a couple of newer more upscale Mexican places.

And of course we had to try both (one a weekend)

Cielo Rojo was first

It's owned by the same family that owns the best Mariscos in town - Playa Hermosos

I had the Cochinita Pibil It was very good
