I voted GF, though GFII is my favorite movie of all time. I just think his character in GF is interesting and the transformation from not being in it to taking over is great. In Two, he is who he is and goes deeper into it, but what I love about Two is the backstory on Vito with DiNiro.

Two is better than One, IMO, but I think Al was better in One. Slightly. He was good in dog day as well.

Cant choose, there are to many great performances up there.

Looking forward to Pacino and De Nero working together again in a new film, that's name escapes me right now.

I went with Scarface. It was the only role I can recall that stretched his acting range (ie. it wasn't a shouting Italian)

My new order...

1. Dog Day Afternoon
2. Serpico
3. Scarecrow (Gene Hackman was dang good as well)

* Consolation * The Devil's Advocate. Loved his performance, though it rings similar to the bunch of his performances since the late 90s where he's the same guy who yells.

I have to go with Glen Garry. Truly a great performance in a movie that was full of amazing performances. Anyone who hasn't seen this definitely needs to.
