And It sure was funny to the Ravens win a Super Bowl, while the "Browns" were pitiful.

Since we are being technical in regards to the Browns history - they have been around since 1946 (AAFC). They joined the NFL in 1950 when the two leagues merged. They ceased operations in 1995 and then resumed them again in 1999.

The Ravens - in order for them to be considered they Browns (technically) the NFL would have had to carried the Browns tradition and history over to the Ravens - which they did not. Therefore, the Ravens have to ties to the Browns from a technical standpoint. There Ravens are in essence considered a new team starting in 1996 with the same personnel that existed on the prior Browns squad with the ex-Browns ownership starting a new franchise.

And the Cardinals have been around since 1899 - The Morgan Athletic Club was their original name - but of course the Cardinal fans probably know that.

Hey buddy, you're the one who called the Cardinals the sorriest team in the NFL. And you relentlessly have said that Arizona doesn't have a pro team (yeah that team that beat the Browns a few years ago).

No, Krangthebrain it is not about being thin skinned or the Cardinals being the sorriest NFL team over the past 15 years or even about your brand of joking. It is about respecting other people. And I stand by the Ravens comment. The franchise moved away and won a Super Bowl, and I thought that was quite ironic, seeing the fact that you guys sucked while the old Browns were dominating the league.

If you think it hurt you are wrong. My team always was, is and will forever be the CLEVELAND Browns. The only thing that hurt were the years they didn't play football in CLEVELAND.

I never mentioned anything about your Ravens comment. The day Modell announced he was moving the Browns out of CLEVELAND I stopped liking that team. A few years later, I was actually thrilled, thankful and overjoyed that the Modell moved my team away because of one player. Ray Lewis. No way I would ever want that murdering scum wearing a Browns uniform or respresenting Cleveland. And NO, I woiuld not want to win a Super Bowl with him as a player or coach in any capacity.
