Best Root Beer

Im having a hard time deciding this.. A&W is great, but Barqs just has that lil something extra.. I cant even put Mug in the same category as these two. I know there are other brands less known.. But Im just talking big 3 right now..

A&W and its not even close. Especially if its the real A&W that you can get on tap.

Old Bob Millers used to be VERY good but havent seen it in years.

Ellis Island casino up here in Vegas has a micro brewery. They make a real micro brew root beer that can only be served on tap REAL DRAFT root beer! It is by far the best root beer I have ever tasted! They serve it ice cold in a frosty mug! YUM!

I gotta go with Shane on this one. Out of the big 3, which is slim pickins... if you get A&W out of a frosty mug on tap, that's a little slice of heaven.

mmmmm....Sarsparilla. I was just trying to remember who makes the Sarsparilla I like so much; they also make a killer root beer. Might be Stewart's; not sure.

For flavor i'll do A&W....but Bargs has caffeine so i'll do that at work.
BTW, Walgreens has root beer in a cold glass bottle which is a good choice also.

I got sick by drinking Teddy Roosevelt brand Rootbeer from Fry's. It may be due to the fact that I drank so much of it, but I haven't really had a craving for a frosty mug of rootbeer until I read this thread
