Best Summer Season for Movies

Thought it would be interesting to see what people thought was the best summer for movies in recent memory. I'm going with 1999 - the summer that started in April with the first Matrix then was followed up in May by Star Wars: Episode 1, Austin Powers 2, South Park, American Pie, Deep Blue Sea and The Sixth Sense. Even though I hated Episode 1 - the hype leading up to it and anticicpation for it was awesome and everything else seemed to be either good to great quality summer entertainment - and with the 6th Sense - genius work - I can't remember another Summer that produced such quality popcorn films - anyone else have any other favorite years?

1991 was pretty good too - I think that was Terminator 2, Robin Hood, City Slickers, Soapdish, The Rocketeer.

1994 jumps out at me - Forrest Gump, Lion King, Speed, Dumb and Dumber, City Slickers II, The Flinstones, Pulp Fiction (not sure if that was released during summer)

Those may not be blockbusters (sans Gump) but I like some of those movies.

Also, 1997 i guess - Men in Black, The Lost World, Austin Powers, Con Air
