They gave up a 5th also. A 3rd and a 5th most definitely is not nothing. Many good players picked in those rounds. Plus that's where Keim does his best work.

Ok sure now compare that to other teams that have traded up in the 1st round for a QB in the top ten then get back to me about what we gave up. A 5th round pick? Really

Not saying it wasn't a good deal, but acting like it's nothing is what separates the New Englands from the Arizonas. Every pick matters my dude. Get back to me when were good enough tp write off draft picks

True. But go check who they actually picked up with those two picks.

You are right. This time. Here's some fifth round picks that turned out to be really good though.

Larry Centers
Rodney Harrison
Joe Horn
Zach Thomas
Herschel Walker
Michael Turner

Arizona is not motivated to trade Rosen; otherwise, they’d be counter-offering these teams. If Rosen is available, it will be in the form of a bidding war, not an active negotiation.

I don’t see Arizona giving him up for less than a first.
Agreed.. Qbs are currency more than ever. They are your queen in the chess game. You don't let a pawn take you out.

New England has actually drafted really bad, what makes them great is they have the greatest QB and Coach of all time.

They actually didn’t give up anything just swapped 1st and a 3rd but we had 2 3rd round picks that year.

It was a steal by SK.
I obviously didn't think that comment out before typing it lol. What i was trying to say is they got Rosen in the first round at #10 & it would be foolish for them to take anything less than a first round pick for him.

I like keeping Rosen and drafting Q #1. See what happens. If Kk is truly a QB guru he should be able to make Rosen serviceable. If not, well, the Cards won’t be any worse off going into next year’s draft. Older fans have been here many, many times.
