Best trade to start the Ishbia Era

I liked the team before any moves were made. If I had to pick from the others though it's Ayton for Nurkic. Big Nurk has been great here, assimilating better than anyone thought he would and he also trimmed down this last off season and that's helped him stay healthy. Mainly though, no more watching Ayton sleepwalk through games. I'm glad that's over and we also have a legit Center here now. Nurkic doesn't phone in any plays let alone quarters or entire games. Getting Little and Allen in the deal was the cherry on top.

In hindsight, if DA trade went down before CP3 one, we might have been able to trade CP3 and Allen or Little to 76s for Harden. A big-3 of KD-Book-Harden would be perfect.

I really can’t vote on this with a solid answer only because the KD trade set a lot of the next trades in motion.

But we had to move on from cp3 sooner than Ayton, mostly because we knew he was old and unreliable before we knew Ayton was a head case.
