From praise to this in record time.

I get his point and all yet you almost have to wait till year end to see if the 12 mil is still around or not.

Of course should things turn around the inevitable ok maybe it's starting to turn around article is to follow with the ultimate kiss up if they really turn around.

I mean it's like a soap opera where even death isn't final.

Where would the 12 mil go? To re-sign players? Who deserves to be re-signed or extended out of this group?

I just e-mailed him

and tore into him for his lack of support and crummy editorials. We'll see if he responds.

it's also not his job to dissuade would be, or laready fans, not to support this team. imho. Sometimes a mild comment can be heard better than a shout.

Who was the media guy who suggested the boycott last season before the Lions game? Man, did he get hammered by the fans on his way off the field that night.

I think it was Pedro Gomez, the baseball writer from the Arizona Repulsive.

Bickley should stop pilfering ideas for his columns from our message board.

Seems like most of the stuff he writes he gets from here.

Unless, Kerouac and Bickley are one and the same!

Shelton and Thompson...

LJ is consistently injured, and certainly hasn't developed into anything near a star.

Raynoch is injured quite often himself, and looks consistently bad following anyone out of the backfield.

I can't envision either of these two deserving a large chunk of that leftover 12 million.

Consistently injured?

Maybe you ought to take a look at the number of games started by these two, since they arrived.

"Envision" their re-signing.

As for how large of a chunk... whatever the market dictates for starting LT and SLB...

Geez. What the hell do you expect? The Cards organization deserves all the ridicule and derision it is receiving right now. They have done NOTHING to earn respect and praise. For 15 years, they have been a bad desert joke. Yeah, they made the playoffs one year, but look how they followed that one up. Why should he support this team? Why should anyone? Only those who declare themselves fans should support this team. However, this organzation does not DESERVE fans. Nobody owes their loyalty to this organization. The organization has the job of EARNING loyalties. Stop obsessing with the media's opinions of the Cards and just be a fan yourself. You should not feel the need to search out legitimacy for your loyalties....

Tell me your joking? Consistently injured?

LJ was a manchild last year and is our best OT! He should be resigned!

Thompson is a player!

Being critical of poor play, preparation and execution is fair. Equally fair is watching each and every game and seeing exactly what went wrong and being at practices, as a journalist, to actually get answers to your questions.
As for deserving fans, well, that would be the fan's choice. My point was basically, that he's been ripping the Cards for so long and his opinions are too one sided, always!

The organization made some very good moves this season, both in improving the team, and business practices.
Obsessed-preoccupied intensely. I don't think that's what anyone could ascertain from any of my posts.
I need NOTHING to legitimize my loyalties to anything.
I also believe, if you make living here, you should support your home teams. He is not a reporter stating facts. He is an editorialist stating opinion. HE should not be OBSESSED with constant attempts to dissuade other people's loyalties.

an editorial is a person's opinion so i don't see how he was wrong.I think it would be heard to find anything positive to write about an 0-2 team that has been shellacked by a bad Detroit team and a Seattle team that has proven nothing yet.Especially when the Cards are doing very little to improve their team.YOu don't see the media making jokes about teams like J'ville and Seattle. They,at least, seem to do things to try and win.The Cards front office deserves what it gets.

I think you are foolish if you can`t see some positives about the way things are being done this year.Small steps but steps anyway.I guess it`s all about your outlook.

First and foremost, I'm a Cards fan. I listen to their games on the radio, I watch their games on TV, I watch the post game shows, and I sport their gear in public. do you know that I often get peole who come up to me and say, "I've never met a Cards fan before." So you aren't **** to me to be questioning me....

Secondly, nothing I said was wrong. The Cards organization has yet to EARN any respect or reverence in the media or in the league. Why do you think that FAs constantly use the Cards as a negotiating launching pad? All I have ever said is taht you guys need to stop obsessing over everything that is said in the media and you need to stop crying that the Cards get no respect. Why do you expect that they should get that respect?

Finally, I cannot change my loyalties. As much as I wish it were easy for me to just up and change teh team I root for, I just can't. I can only wish for the day that the Cards either turn this **** around so I can actually enjoy being a Cards fan or that they move somewhere, thus liberating my loyalties. I'm a hoetown boy and there's nothing I can do about it....
