I believe the Cardinals could be a top 10 offense, and a playoff team

The trend for so long has been to spread out defenses and get mismatches....but the Cardinals are in a unique position to run primarily a JUMBO offense...and make it successful.

With Kyler, Conner/Benson, McBride/Reiman/Higgins.....I would like to see us run a good portion of our offense with MHJ as the only WR on the field.

McBride and Benson/Conner become your slot/move guys...and we still maintain the ability to line everyone up have a power running game to either side of the field at will.

Id sign kyle juszczyk.....bring back the receiving FB.....

IDK...call me crazy...but I think I would rather see an offense this year where we run it 45 times a game (QB runs included)....attack the middle of the field with McBride....and have MHJ dominate the sideline and the deep ball (you know there will be shots when teams are loading up the box).

Power Running, Ball Control and Time of Possession Focus, Use Kylers legs as part of the game plan, Throw Deep Bombs to MHJ when he gets single coverage.

That to me is a gameplan that easily wins this division if our defense is even slightly improved.

If we give up 27 points we are losing anyway in most games.

I think we showed last year that we are a good running team already, with a chance to be elite if we go "all in".

Conner = 1200+ rushing yards....Murray =800+ rushing yards....Benson = 800+ rushing yards

The NFL in 2024 simply isn’t structured to win in this fashion.. we will be mediocre and the most boring team in the league. Hard pass.

Absolutely positively no. It is very difficult to run the ball without the threat of the pass. Four yards and a cloud of dust will make you execute flawlessly on every drive. A bad snap, a motion penalty or god forbid a holding penalty puts this kind of one dimensional offense behind the sticks.

It’s 2025 man. The rules favor the offense. Every decent offense has two good wides and a TE.

You want to run the ball without the lead and with 4 minutes left in the game. Can’t do that if your losing.

Only 2 teams rushed for over 3000 yards as a team last year.....The Ravens and the Eagles.

Focusing on the run and playing solid defense still works.

Also...look at our offense last year. We actually had more than twice as many 40+ yard RUNS as we did 40+ yard passes. We were near the top of the league in "explosive" rushing plays, and near the bottom in passing plays.

Now...this wasnt because we took anyone by surprise...we were 12th in the league in total rushing. Instead, we were able to impose our will and get big plays in the running game by wearing the defenses down....meaning that more rushing attempts would increase that impact even further. More ball control, more wearing down the defense, more big plays in the running game.

I would also argue we would be become so strong in the power running game, that teams would have little choice but to single cover MHJ and McBride.....coupled with the increased impact of play action...I would expect more big plays and touchdowns from them as well.

Instead of being boring...we would be methodical.

Going to have to disagree there. Ravens will never win anything. Eagles have had the most complete roster of any team for 3 years straight to the point it’s still arguable that their weakest link was arguably their QB. Not a weakness on that team top to bottom.. that’s what won them a SuperBowl. I don’t think we will see a roster of that fashion anytime soon.

Some of you are acting like Im saying to suit up 10 O-Lineman.

You realize a "big" set would have MHJ, McBride, Reiman, Conner, Benson....and a QB that runs a 4.4.

All of those guys besides maybe Reiman are as good a WR as anyone on our roster anyway.

You run out a set like I listed above...and you could come out in a goal line formation, and then motion all the way out to 4 wide with your "worst" WR being Conner.

Wow...the Ravens win ALOT....and certainly a lot more than we do.

The Eagles have shown that if you have an offense that focuses on the run you can win....it got them to one SB....and finally got them a victory when they went ALL IN on the rushing attack and got Barkley.

Everyone saying that you can't win in 2025 being a run first team is just incorrect....especially when your roster is severely lacking in WR talent and actually excels at the power run game.

The threat of the pass is MHJ and McBride...or a RB coming out of the backfield.

You guys are acting like Im saying to just run the wildcat or something.

Im saying our best lineup...that puts our best athletes on the field...and yes Im using a combination of Running/Catching/Blocking is a big set with McBride as our #1 passing target. Conner and Benson are both above average in the pass game, and I personally like the ability to RPO or motion those guys out from the backfield. 2 back sets dont have to mean running the power I....although Conner could easily be a blocking FB type on a few carries just to keep the defense guessing.

Okay, so if we had Tee Higgins or Devonte Adams you don’t believe that wouldn’t change our dynamics.
I know we don’t have them but having another dynamic threat at wr would only make Connor and McBride even better.

We were definitely a run first team and I’m okay with that. However, a well rounded offense needs a big play threat. A good run game sets up play action and as well as we ran the ball we certainly weren’t capable of taking advantage of the run game.
Why?
Could it be the lack of a second Wr threat?
Could it be a Qb that can’t throw deep or read a defense?
Both?

I would love to see us start running the pro set sweep or toss...Conner out front blocking for Benson...JC makes a hole and the youngster bursts down field...hell yeah
