Saw this on another board, apparently the Raiders are considering offering Philip Buchanon and a pick(report said first I highly doubt that) for Moss. Raiders figure they're losing Porter so they need a big play WR for Collins, Buchanon wants out.

Kind of makes sense but I see no way they'd also throw in a first round pick, especially one that high.

Well, they do have the oldest wide receiving core in the NFL, don't they? And Randy Moss looks scary enough with that hair to fit right in with Raider Nation.

??? Actually, they have one of the youngest...Rice and Brown are gone, they now have Jerry Porter, Doug Gabriel, Johhny Morant, John Stone... No real stand outs, but definately not old...

Don't forget Ronald Curry. I have never seen a player improve more in one year than he did last year. Year before I was stunned they didn't cut him, he was so raw at WR(converted QB) and he sucked returning kicks. Last year the kid was a rising stud. 50 catches nearly 700 yards and 6 TD's in 11 games before he got hurt.

Gigantino said on tv on the Raider postgame show "now people know why they passed on Fitzgerald and Roy Williams knowing they had Curry."

Everyone knew he was a great athlete and apparently it clicked on for him last year.

You were right until they cut Brown and Rice loose.

Don't know how I left him out, your're he played great until injured, big reason why they can afford to let Porter go...

Pasquarelli is saying the Raiders are in talks with Porter having decided they now want to keep him.

So I guess my they know they're going to lose him wouldn't be accurate.

Wow, Moss, Porter and Curry would be a pretty scary trio, Porter at 6'2" would be the shortest of the 3, they can all run, and go up and get the ball.

Here is Pasquarelli article.

Sounds as if Porter and the Raiders are in heavy positive negotiations.

Who the hell do they plan on starting at cornerback??? From all I've heard, Woodson is as good as gone.
