Did you see Belichick walk by Manning when Peyton went up to him after the game? The guy is a sore loser.

Yeah that wasn't cool. The only reason I like the Pats is Tom Brady. I am happy for Manning and Dungy though.

He's a wierdo but I don't know why Manning goes over there. Whats the point of that? Unless he's trying to provide us the entertainment of making Belichick act like a jackass. Its useful that way. But it seems like he should have tried to find Brady instead.

Yeah they were playing up how those guys didn't used to respect each other before but they do now, etc.

Whoa just in, apparently God won this one. I didn't even see him out there. O well. Apparently he hates the patriots. Who can blame him?

He was trying to find Dungy, I think...and then Belichick blew him off.

Belichick is a fluffer though, anyway. A complete, classless tool.

In all honesty, Dungy gave thanks for God giving them the strength to win the game. Nothing wrong with that.

I personally find it silly. Are the patriots unworthy of God giving them the strength to win? Did one of them visit a brothel last night, kick the dog on the way out the door? I'll never get that.

I thanked God for helping me finish a 5K today and I came nowhere near to winning, lol. People thank people/things/higher beings that they believe helped them on some level. That's all this was I think. Let's try not to get this thread moved to the P&R board.

There is nothing wrong with thanking God for your gifts. It's how you use them that gets results. Thanking god for the gifts that help you kick another teams ass doesn't mean that the other team doesn't have gifts and talents either...just that yours were better that night.

I agree with this. However, I personally find it silly when anyone in a sports event, implies God sided with one team or the other. When I see that inference I find it ridiculous. Now if they are thanking god for a good game with no injuries, being grateful for winning, the great opportunity they had to play, etc, thats all good. But if someone's saying God chose us to win over this other team, ridiculoous. At the Catholic H.S. I went to, before the game, our coach used to say "mother of victory, pray for us" When I got older, I became pretty sure, there is no mother of victory. And that God deals with sporting events, if he bothers with them all as opposed to saving children from friendly fire, the way we do. He lets the best team win on their own. That's my personal belief. My contention is by saying Thank You God for giving OUR team the strength to win, it only logically follows that he didn't give that strength to the other team. I don't agree with that.

Yep it is sad too. He's supposed to be a professinal and he acts like the jealous kid in the family that was written out of the will. He might consider doing a little soul searching perhaps?

Hey, sorry you can't win EVERY Super Bowl, Bill, lol!
