I haven't seen anyone mention his name, but his contract is up at the end of the season, and thus far there hasn't been any movement in an extension. I would love to see a fiery guy, spitting as he yells, on the sideline. I say we throw a years worth of the PHX university money at him (Per year) if he comes available and get him here no matter what.

It sounds like he is very content with retirement in N.C.

Here's to you, Mr. Relentlessly checks spelling. This Bud's for you.

I rarely BIM, but back to back posts with errors = had to be done.

Heck, I think that is my second BIM of all time, and my first was on me.

He would be the BEST coach by far....

I bet you that guy doesn't stay retired if it does become the case that the Steelers actually let him go. If he ends up on the market these Cardinals better throw insane amounts of cash at him. Even if he doesn't come here, they'd better make a huge effort.

No way Bill Cowher would agree to be our HC, but Lovie Smith, maybe. His salary is pretty low with the Bears.

Lovie is not paid much (relatively) here in Chicago. I am sure that mean he will go to the Cards.
He's the lowest paid HC in the league....for now. I really, really doubt that's the case when he's coaching for the bears next year.
