Polian would be the guy to get without a doubt. I want nothing to do with Lombardi.
We're good though. Graves's contract is up at the end of next year so, if the Cards can lose a couple more, he'll be in line for an extension.

As long as Old Man Bidwill is alive, we will never have a legitimate GM. That's a given. That thought depressed me 20 years ago. 20 years later, I'm more hopeful that Bill Bidwill's grip on this franchise will end upon his earthly demise. I do believe that Michael's involvement has helped & that he'll run this franchise MUCH differently that his Dad. But right now, DAD still makes the ultimate decisions. Don't kid yourself. Bill is a very decent man & Michael loves him dearly. It's just that Bill is a HORRIBLE owner.

Lombardi is only 54 and considering the way Polian was fired in Indy after having the amount of success he did and building a team aronf Peyton only to be fired when Peyton wasn't there, I think he may want a shot to prove he can do it again.

Pretty sure there were some major cronyism issues with Polian towards then end, his son being the most prominent beneficiary.

Also wasn't that impressed with the Colts draft classes. Definitely whiffed on many, many picks.
