Bills and former Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb finalizing a deal tonight that will give Buffalo one more starting-caliber QB.

"one more starting-caliber QB."

One more? Who was there other one? They only have Aaron Corp and Tarvaris Jackson on the roster, both are bench warmers at best.

KK doesn't have to worry about the Buffalo cold weather, because they don't play all their home games in Buffalo.

He's only good for about 4 or 5 games anyway. Then he'll bump his head and sit out the remainder of the season.

Too bad that was a monumental fail. Glad that's over.

Well when he hits the turf it'll immediately be like an icepack on his injury.

Great move for Kolb. Marrone will be an outstanding HC!!

Marrone is bringing the K-Gun to Buffalo, I hear. It would be an excellent fit for Kolb provided he can stay healthy.

lol. Look at the Bills' schedule. Whoever they play week 4 or 5 is where AW signs. 2 Bills QBs killed in a career has to be some kind of record

If Kolb is rubbish and Palmer great, why are the Bills doing this?
Don't think the Bills are any kind of barometer for quality signings of QB's.

Didn't they just give Fitzpatrick a huge contract? JP Losman. Trent Edwards. I don't have the energy to look up all the busts they've had a QB in recent years. But one more example of just how much they shouldn't be trusted to this kind of decision was to bench Flutie in favor of Rob Johnson.

Since Kelly, they haven't had crap at QB nor have they been smart about who they did have at QB.

Them not going after/waiting for Palmer means absolutely nothing IMO. I don't even think Palmer would consider playing there so it probably wasn't even an option for the Bills.

I hope they pay him a lot of bucks to be the starting QB and I hope he comes through for the Bills like he did for the Cards. Misery loves company, sign me just a tad bitter.

I watched Marrone perform magic @ Syracuse when they had absolutely nothing when he arrived there. People are underestimating where the Bills franchise is heading. They have solid people running the show now. Buffalo will be a perennial playoff team sooner rather than later. If he stays healthy, and that's a big if, this is a great move for Kolb.

I'm not familiar with Marrone but just about any approach has to be better than the uninspiring re-treads they've been bringing in. Gailey? Jauron? Mularkey? Phillips? Williams?

Blecch! At least a couple of those guys were potentially something new I guess, but talk about striving for mediocrity.

In that division, it's going to take something new to get over on the Patriots so this is certainly the right try. Don't know if it'll work out but it's a lot better than bringing in Eric Mangini to do something you know won't work.

That's if Geno Smith doesn't end up here. I still think there's a big smokescreen around that, although if Palmer ends up here, that might be moot.
