It's a throwback and I think they look really sweet. The 3rd uni's look a hell of alot better than what they have now

Very sharp. The Bills current uniforms like many other teams are too busy. I particularly like the old helmet.

Those are throwback uni's. Teams old uni's are simple, sweet and less confusing. I wish all teams uni's were still that way.

Those are freaking horrible. Note to the NFL. The year is 2005. Not 1975.

I also hate. HATE. This whole trend of having black shoes or a grey face mask, when no other part of the uniform has black or grey in it! It makes so much sense.

The Bills throw back unis look close to those of their mid 60s heyday but their not quite there. THe blue is lighter now and the stripes arent the same.
By the way is that "mini" Max Anderson wearing # 22? I thought he last played in '68 when he lost his front teeth on that bone jarring hit in the San Diego game.

Everything goes in cycles. Those black shoes that you hate at one time were worn by all the teams. Some day you can bet black shoes will be back again and white will be considered old fashioned.

Still dont understand all the excitement about the color of facemasks.

Different strokes I guess but a lot of the new uniforms are just too busy. Same dark jersey and dark pants for instance makes it very difficult for me to follow the plays. The dark legs and dark torso makes everything blend together. Same goes for these road uniforms that are increasingly using more dark color like Cards new uniforms makes it more difficult to watch. Home and road teams blend together more. I am a big fan of color contrast and simplicity.

How come they didn't get Travis Henry to pose in the new jersey?

I'm feeling them joints personally. Much better than the crappy ones they have now. The white ones at least.

I hope not. Black shoes, grey facemasks or random colors (i.e the light blue in the Bills socks) really destroy any continuity a uniform has.

White shoes make sense if you have white in the uniform. Black shoes make sense if there is black in the uniform.

I'm not a fan of throwing in random colors just to make it 'retro'.

Still dont understand all the excitement about the color of facemasks.

Again, for me it's a continuity and uniformity issue. Grey makes no sense when the teams color scheme is red, white and black. That's why I'm not a fan of the Cardinals using them.

If there was grey/silver in the uniform. It would tie it all together. Then I wouldn't have a problem with it.

I personally have no problem telling teams apart during games. Which teams are you refering too?

I think one team where road uniforms will blend in with the oppositions home uniforms will be Cardinals if opposition's home uniforms are red. That red around the shoulders particularly if they wear red pants would make them blend with home red of opposition. I would like to see NFL start enforcing team color (usually home) and light colors and have one team wear light and the other dark in uniform design. There should be a limit by percentage on the amount of dark color in the road or light uniform. Having trouble right now thinking of others but Bills and Falcons leaps to mind.

When NFL started players wore black shoes and the fields were and still are lined in white. I wonder if white was chosen so that officials could easier distinguish between black shoe and white sidelines. I wonder if it is time for the NFL to consider another sideline color other than white to help officials make the right calls.

Players feel the nee to be different. Billy "whiteshoes" Johnson stood out with his whiteshoes. Guaranteed some WR will try to standout with blackshoes.

White is used by every NFL team. It really is not a color. It is just something to provide contrast with real team color. I think scientifically speaking white really is not a color. It is the absence of color. Grey is used the same way white is as something to provide contrast to team color. Too much color is gaudy and distracting. That is why white and grey are used. That is also why most teams wore white and home teams dark. The contrast prevents clash of color and makes it easier to distinguish teams.

Not true. White is actually all of the colors of the spectrum combined. Think of white light through a prism.

Thanks I stand corrected. Is it black then that is absence of color? I believe there is a a perceived color that actually is no color.
