Most articles claim it was 6 on 1, and he said he thought there were 7 guys. Scottsdale police arrested 6 men. As soon as they described the Houston's with the CVS nearby, I knew which one it was because one of the schools I cover is just down the street from it.

Former NHL player Paul Bissonnette was assaulted by six men at a restaurant in Arizona on Sunday night after he intervened when the group began to cause a scene.

"It’s a family restaurant; I don’t think there was anybody in there who could go maybe help him out. So, I went over, I just grabbed the guy's arm that was on [the manager]. I said ‘Sir, if you continue to harass and assault the staff, we’re gonna have problems.’ And then they just started chucking. So, it escalated extremely quickly. I think it was seven guys I fought with throughout the course of the restaurant all the way into the parking lot over to CVS."

According to FOX10, Scottsdale police arrested six men involved in the fight on charges of assault and disorderly conduct. Five are facing misdemeanors and the sixth is facing a felony. They were not identified by law enforcement, according to the report.

The Maricopa County Sheriff Office stopped publishing mugshots recently when they were sued for violation of privacy rights.

Need more of this in society rather than people standing around and filming with their cell phones. Huge props to him and I hope he didn't get too hurt. He said that they did get him to the ground and started kicking him in the head. Real tough guys ganging up on one man like that and all. SMH. Their identities should definitely be released. No expectation of privacy when you assault people in public.

Once a criminal case is filed, the public record will identify the defendants, but there will be no mugshots.

Scottsdale Police name suspects from Paul Bissonnette fight

The names of six men arrested for a fight involving Paul Bissonnette in Scottsdale were released by the Scottsdale Police Department.

The names and mugshots of six men arrested for a fight involving former NHL player Paul Bissonnette at a Scottsdale restaurant were released by the Scottsdale Police Department on Tuesday.

Sean M. Daley was booked by Scottsdale Police as well as the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged after the Sunday evening fight with aggravated assault and forgery (possessing a forged instrument), which are both felonies. He also had a charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

William J. Carroll was booked on two counts each of misdemeanor assault and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Henry P. Mesker, John G. Carroll, Danny Bradley and Edward J. Jennings were additionally booked with a misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct charge each.

Police reports list Bissonette, Houston’s and one of the managers as victims in the case.

I am surprised because the Maricopa Sheriff changed their policy. So Scottsdale continues it. I assume there will be more lawsuits. I don’t know about you, but I am not in favor of public shaming those who have been arrested. We all know police make mistakes.
