Is there a chance some of the games will be blacked out this season? And before I get the, "get your a$$ to the stadium" replies please understand I am a student who has season tickets but lives in Tucson. Therefore, I sell a few games off to make it more affordable. I'm especially curious about the Saints preseason game that is on ESPN. Thanks.

I seriously doubt that we have any blackouts this year. Next year if we don't get in the playoffs are a real possibility though.

Actually I don't think getting in the playoffs or not will dictate sellouts as much as the economy will.

They must be having a little bit of a problem with that pre-season game (Saints) as they are offering it as part of a package deal if you want to buy Dallas tickets. I would wait a little while longer to see if they announce which games are sold-out.

paper said around 5k tickets left available --- compared to the 3k they have available if they sell out season tickets.

I suppose its possible that some regular season home games may not sell out --

Dolphins? Cant imagine a big Dolphin fan base in town, particularly coming off last season.

Rams? Second half of the season. If the Cards are struggling coming into that game, I can see a blackout.

Other than that -- I see all the other games selling out -- at a minimum, on the demand for the 5,000 remaining seats from followers of the visiting team.

You don't see a demand for 5,000 single game tickets per game? Every game will be sold out before opening day. This isn't the days of Sun Devil Stadium where they needed 40k per game to sell out. 5k will go very fast to every game.

Preseason games don't get blacked out whether they sell out or not.

The Cards are offering the Saints game because they don't have to pay the players for that game, so all the revenue at the gate basically goes to ownership.

The Dolphins game will sell out because it's the season opener.

I agree that the Rams game, and maybe the 49ers, are the only possible ones. But, not if we, or they, are doing very well at all.

60%. I believe the other 40% that used to go to the visiting team is now added to the revenue sharing account.

Interesting take on the preseason games. Never thought about it that way.

Jaded man, just jaded. The Cards are the cheapest team in the league, but they're evil if they want to make a profit! :D
