Ferrell and Heder to Strap on Blades?
Source: The Hollywood Reporter
November 17, 2005

Will Ferrell and Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) might join Will Arnett and Amy Poehler in Blades of Glory, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Red Hour Films' Ben Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld are producing the DreamWorks comedy with John Jacobs of First Entertainment. Josh Gordon and Will Speck will direct.

The film revolves around a pair of world-class men's figure skaters who are banned from the sport after their disgraceful brawl during the Winter Games in Salt Lake City. After three years of toiling in obscurity, they attempt to put aside their feud and exploit a loophole in the terms of their suspension, partnering to compete in the only category open to them -- pairs figure skating.

Talks are under way to have Ferrell and Heder star as the disgraced pair, with Arnett and Poehler (real-life husband and wife) playing their rivals.

i just watched this and really enjoyed it

goofy comedy

i didn't like anchorman or ricky bobby all that much - but really like ferrell in this one - heder was solid - craig t nelson, jenna fisher & will arnett all filled their roles really well

i definitely recommend this for a quick moving movie full of solid laughs

No, they are too spicy.
:p

I must have been in a REALLY bad mood that day. Haven't seen Zoolander--loved Anchorman. I will be watching this at some point (given how often I watch movies, it will probably be in a couple of years, but I'll see it eventually)

sexually harrassing the board members is a bannable offense, you know. ;)
It's only harassment if...um...well, I don't really know what constitutes harassment anymore, but I do know that if you want to sound smart when discussing such matters you should pronounce it "harris-ment."

Oh, and nice ass.
