So says Hoopshype. If Chandler liked the idea of a move, I'd do it for Vonleh, Varajao (expiring, to match salaries), and a future first.

I got the impression they had hopes for Vonleh. Is he a better talent than Chriss and Bender? Homer me says no.

Any other interesting players we could swap? Backup C and future first plus filler or a more solid SG to replace Knight and Barbosa? Or SF to replace Tucker and possibly push Warren to the bench?

Run it by chandler if he wants to stay then you keep him if he wants to win then you do what you can to make him happy I would really hate to lose him he's such a great presents in the locker room.

I doubt Chandler wants to go to the Blazers. I would love for Chandler to go to the Blazers because they might then leave Len alone in free agency. We are not going to send Chandler anywhere he does not want to go. So I doubt this will happen. But if it does I would want an unprotected pick back. Its highly likely to be #14 but there is a small chance of higher. But we would have to take alot of crap back to make that trade.

Portland is a great motivated trade partner though. They are looking for a vet to get them into the playoffs. Maybe they would give up Plumlee.

Those being Knight and Tucker?
I agree. But don't you think that if we dump Tucker, especially since he now comes off the bench (except when covering an injury), we'd need to get a defensive stopper in the front court? Like it or not, right now, Tucker is the only one we have.

I think his defense is overrated. It's great, on occasion, but it's urban myth that he routinely locks up his opponents. All too often, he plays a one man zone, one where he's far more interested in being in position for the rebound than he is in guarding his charge or area. If it were up to me, I'd probably keep him but I'd play him no more than 15 minutes most nights.

And I'd immediately bench him every time time he fails to shoot or pass out of that corner 3. If he doesn't have the shot, he should simply pass the ball. I'm so tired of watching him decide to drive to the hoop instead of take that shot. Between his mediocre shooting percentage, or him getting stuffed at the rim, stripped on the way to the hoop or called for out of bounds when his jab step or push-off step crosses the line, I'm not even sure I'd put him in the corner anymore.
