Hes going to be a heck of a player, for whoever drafts him before us.

Some early mocks had him falling to the Cards but that just shows the worthlessness of early mocks.

Charley Casserly is really high on this guy. He was talking about him on the Path to the Draft show - and while that was happening, they were showing his combine highlights. Sure his 40 time was impressive, actually this says the best weight-adjusted time of the combine: http://247sports.com/Bolt/Bud-Dupree-logged-best-weight-adjusted-40-at-NFL-Combine-35891857

But what caught my eye was his broad jump. Dude's foot crossed the 12-foot line - his toes at least. Now I see his official distance was 11"6'. Pretty sick for a guy that's 269 lb. Just an inch short of Jamie Collins, who I could have sworn they were saying broke the world record at 12"3. Now they're saying 11"7'. So I'm confused about that part. But either way, I think it's safe to say that Dupree's 11"6' broad jump would shatter the weight-adjusted world record.

You're thinking of CB Byron Jones who did 12' 3" which is a world record.

I really think Vic Beasley, Fowler and Dupree will sky rocket the closer the draft gets and Ray and Gregory will fall.

Owamagbe Odighizuwa has better athleticism imo. And of course, the cooler name.

I'm gonna play Devils advocate here.

I could care less about the BR's formula because Skeltons arm & quick release on that espn show was compared to Peyton Mannings & we all know how that worked out.

Is Dupree a freak athlete at his size? You bet! My concern is he didn't get a lot of sacks at Kentucky in his 3 yrs starting. I'm assuming he was asked to play coverage a lot as well. But, if he's the dynamic pass rusher peeps thinks he capable of, wouldn't UK use him more in that role? A&M did with Miller & so did Clemson with Beasley as 2 examples.

The same things worried me about Dion Jordan & Aaron Curry coming out as picks & I said so each time. Imo don't expect a player to do something in the pros he hasn't done on a consistant basis in college. Just sayin...buyer beware!

I thought I read somewhere that he led the SEC in sacks.

I've changed my mind on him. I watched some video on him and went from "meh" on him to very impressed and would love for him to be the Cards pick. He has a first step that is right there with Shane Ray and is bigger.

If he did 8.5 sacks isn't a lot, especially for all the supposed freakish talent in the SEC.

Btw I'm doing quite the opposite, I'm becoming more enamored with Ray the more I watch of him :D He's a pipedream unless Kiem is willing to cough up picks.

Come to think of it, I may be getting confused and think Ray led the SEC in sacks. And, Ray is still my favorite.

I'm worried about the same. He's been my pick for a while now and I was hoping he'd fly under the radar at the comine. I think Fowler, Beasley, Ray and hopefully Gregory have a good chance to go before him but Pittsburgh scares the hell out of me a few picks before us with a vacancy left by Worilds.
