Mar. 24—The Riverland Community College baseball team went 5-1 overall on a weekend trip to the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The Blue Devils lost to Alexandria 2-1 and beat Rainy River 8-7 on Friday, they topped Hibbing 7-4 and beat Rainy River 12-5 on Saturday and RCC swept Hibbing by scores of 15-2 and 7-3 on Sunday.
Austin grad Peyton Ransom scored one mound win and he also had three RBIs on the road trip for the Blue Devils (11-6 overall). Dylan Carlson, Yadier Rodriguez, Albert Rigual and Karlo Aguirre all homered on the trip.
