Board gives Boise OK to join Big East (AP)

The Idaho State Board of Education has given Boise State its consent to join the Big East Conference. The board voted 7-1 Thursday to give university president Bob Kustra authority to move Boise State out of the Mountain West Conference and into the Big East.
