The tcu helmets kind of look like bowling balls.

I don't know how to describe them. They just look...................... dirty.

Not dirty in a good way either!

Were those helmets and pants, TCU was sporting, meant to look like Horned Frog skin?

I was wondering the same thing. I guess they were.

Boise is set up pretty good for next year, returning 20 of 22 starters (Losing only 5 seniors total) and playing Va Tech and Oregon St.

Where does Boise State rank at the end of this year? What about next year?

If life was fair. I would say they could end up as high as #3. I figure Alabama/Texas winner #1, Florida #2 , based on their beat down of Cincy, and Boise State #3 as undefeated, but wrong conference and beat BCS non conference foe.

Since life is not fair, Boise State could be as low as #6. If Ga Tech whoops Iowa badly, they go to #3, Texas/ Alabama game is close, loser is #4 or #5.

Next year the pre season rubber stampers will stick the same old teams in the top 10. Boise State may not even make top 10 preseason.

You are probably right. I think we've slowly been earning some respect, and to start the season outside the top 10 would be frustrating, but could happen. Some voters still had us ranked 12-14 before the bow game.

I love how it pisses off some of the talking heads that they have to keep talking about BSU because we keep winning.

I'm sure next year they will anoint Ohio State up there pretty high. The announcers in the Rose Bowl couldn't stop proclaiming priors greatness and all but announcing him as the Heisman guy next year.

Texas could drop a bit as well as florida, but not a whole lot.

Boise State should be top 5 next year, for sure. When are people going to realize this a not a Cinderella story anymore? You know, they did come around on Gonzaga, and other small conference schools, in college basketball, so I guess there is hope.

I think Boise St. and TCU got screwed having to play each other. But, I can see why the BCS didn't want them playing Georgia Tech and Iowa. The major conferences would've taken two losses from the "outsiders" for the first time.
