When he was a Cardinal I was all for him, now that he's a NON Cardinal I don't care, same goes for Dansby, Rolle, Pace etc...I liked 'em all still do but now I just don't care
I still like Boldin I just don't care if he gets 1000 yards or 50 yards, doesn't matter to me he's not a Cardinal anymore

1. If Docket deal isn't finalized by this time next year, he'll sit out - and he'll be loud as heck about it.

2. I won't say I lost respect for Q after the NFC championship game, but I never held him in the same reqard from that point forward as I prevously did. He went from selfless to selfish instantly, IMO. In my head, I keep picturing the difference between TSmith - crying on the sidelines, and Anquan - not sticking around for the celebration.

3. I'll always remember Q as one of my favorite AZ Cardinal players. A day will come where both he and the organization will need to get past their animosity. His name belongs in the Ring in Glendale. When the time comes for him to leave the game, a part of me hopes we do a sign and retire deal with us. Whereas AW talks about leaving a legacy, Anquan is going to have to settle for it here in AZ as I don't see a HOF induction for him, and Baltimore fans won't ever appreciate the Superman player he was here in AZ. That may not mean much to him now, but at some point in his life, I suspect it will.

Go Cards!!!

Very well said!!

Boldin was a god up until a few years ago. The last couple of years for the team have been the most successful and enjoyable time in recent history. A player like Boldin, who had to endure so many bad years prior should have been having the time of his lime the last couple of years and especially the during Superbowl run. Instead, he was sulking and selfish. His act over the last couple of years is when I soured about him as a person. It showed he really only cared about himself. Dockett has been in the same situation over the last couple of years but yet he is still passionate about the team and the fans.

Never heard a complaint from his team mates (the people whose opinion really matter to an athlete) and I saw no lack of passion on the field.

Selfish? He got the deal he was looking for from the Cards, from the Ravens.

Sulking - Yes... but not on game day. And his attitude was directed towards management whom he believed had lied to him.

That said - it was time for both parties to move on.

Screw Boldin!!!! At a time that he should have been rejoicing in the franchise's greatest success, he was a whiny little .itch. I always hated the Ravens & now there is even more to hate. Do I want to see him do well? HELL NO!!! He's worst than dead to me. Dansby & Rolle are dead to me, but they didn't sit around & whine their last 2 years here.
Agreed, his actions after the NFC Championship really soured my feelings towards him. Think of all the great moments after that game, AW crying during his interview w/ Pam Oliver, T. Smith breaking down, victory laps, etc and he was off by himself getting out asap. You'd think after spending 6yrs here his reaction would've been like his teammates or like Aeneas Williams after beating SD in 1998. This has always stuck with me.

Wow, so quick to turn your backs on a guy who gave his all for the Cardinals. If you do recall, he had a major hand in the turn around for the Cardinals here...without Boldin who knows where we'd be today. He brought us a positive attitude when we had none.

Yes, his days ended a little rough, and everyone remembers him walking out of the NFC championship game, and I think the Cards will be fine without him. But I don't get all the harsh talk about the guy...he was a warrior for the Cardinals and we were lucky to have him. I personally wish him the best in Baltimore...it's not like he was traded to San Francisco...
The only reason we turned things around was the hiring of Kenneth Whisenhunt. Boldin was the star player on some of the WORST teams in Cardinal history. He was happier being the go-to guy on **** teams than he was being a contributor to a SB team. His selfishness got the better of him. Screw Boldin and the horse he rode out of town on.

MESA! :thud:
An Americanism, I've never understood...:D
I don't get it, either. I care so little about it, I couldn't possibly care any less. Ergo, "couldn't care less"...

...which is pretty much how I feel about Boldin. I don't care what he has to say about us in the least. He's gone. I've moved on...excited to see Breaston in the #2 spot.

I disagree. I feel he gave us hope. At least he gave me hope at the time. He was a part and a big part of the turn around here. I'm not saying he was all of the turn around by any stretch, but to say he had nothing to do with it seems a bit far fetched to me.

I understand everyone here is a Cardinal fan first, but I'm having a hard time understanding the anger some are experiencing regarding Boldin. I can understand if people don't want to follow him or care about him as he has moved on, but to actually have such bitterness and anger towards the guy, while it is everyone's right to do so, just kind of makes me step back in shock a little.

I'd prefer to enjoy what they did for us and the good memories while looking forward towards our current team and the memories we hope them to provide rather than trashing on a guy who did what he did for the Cards. But to each their own.

It was directed at the coaching staff as well. Resented Wiz for getting involved in his contract dispute.

I heard a snipit of an interview that he did on Sirius NFL Radio and the reporter asked him what was the biggest difference between his time in Arizona and now with Baltimore? His reponse was something to the effect that, the biggest difference was the passion of the team and the fans in Baltimore compared to AZ. To me, that is a slap in the face to all the people that adored this guy for so many years. That goes to show how much he really thought of us, it was basically all about the money.

This, his attitude towards Wiz(the biggest reason for out turn around) on more then one occasion, the NFC Championship thing, and a few other post Cards comments. That is when my jersey went to the Goodwill.

I could care less about the guy beyond fantasy football.

I love Boldin. Always will. Behind Wilson he is probably my favorite Cardinal of all time. Nothing Anquan ever did or said was bad enough to change my opinion of him in the slightest bit.

I figure if after 7 years the worst things you can say about the guy are that he complained about his contract and did not stay on the field to celebrate the title game win, he is probably a pretty damn good guy.

Boldin ran more like a tight end than a receiver last year. He didn't look a whole lot faster last night, either. I think the injuries are really catching up to him.
