Don't do it Quan! Retire like a man!

I kind of agree with this and hope it happens. But on the same token I wouldn't mind seeing him rack up two or three more years of 900 yards and 6 TD's and have a legitimate shote at a HOF in his future.

I have a sneaking suspicion Q won't be the only fan favorite former Cardinal to join the Niners this week.

Not that big a deal really...

I mean, I get the "emotional" (ie: SUCKS-thing) but I'd be guessing he plays 1-2 more years at most. We won't be ready to seriously challenge S.F. or Sea. for about the same amount of time. IMHO. My hope is that we will be better this year...dangerous in year #2...and ready to be taken seriously in 3 years. Hey, I want to win NOW, too. Been wanting it since 67' but I think it's going to take a lil' time.

GO CARDS! Mark in SC :)

:(:(:(:(

Honestly this was most depressing news of last couple weeks for me. Hes a perfect fit there too.

Ugh. Dont want to be knee jerk but can we just mortgage the franchise and give up next 10 first rounders for a Top 15 QB. I feel like SF and SEA are driving mAseratis and we are plodding along in a soapbox racer.

The only sliver lining in this whole thing is that Boldin is eating up about $6M of the Niners cap space.

According to Sportrac SF has $5 million more in cap hit than Arizona. 118,582,556 to 113,425,950 They also have 11 players they've paid $10 million or more in guaranteed money for a total of about $197 million.

The Cards have 5 players $10 million or more for a total of $88 million.

And Arizona cuts Adrian Wilson while SF trades for Boldin?

Maybe its just an Andy Reid type rumor.

Hey maybe Boldin forgets that he hates the Cardinals now that the Ravens screwed him over.

Never said he wouldn't be fine. Just don't think he will be fine against Seattle, SF's main competition.

Kind of on a side note I think Seattle vaults SF this year.

I think that depends on whether SF can still manage to stay remarkably healthy again, and how Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick respond to the NFL having a few games of tape on them.

I think that SF at their peak is still superior to Seattle at their best (mostly because of the perimeter weapons that the 49ers have). Isn't one of the Seattle Cornerbacks probably going to have to sit out 4 weeks to begin 2013 for "adderall"?

Browner already sat out and Sherman won his appeal I think.

Nope

Only thing that may carry over is that Lynch should have his DUI hearing at some point this summer - doubtful he'd be suspending on his first violation of the substance abuse policy, but there is some personal conduct history .... that's the major question mark, but it's not really on anyones radar right now

I am simply going to pretend this didn't happen.

I hope you have your TV turned off the 2 games we play the Niners next year then cause he's gonna tear us a new ass, just like he did in the 2nd half of the Ravens game in 2011.

I can see Beanie going there. Maybe A-dub.

Beanie?? You mean the Beanie who routinely gets taken down by vicious hits from blades of grass?? That Beanie??
There is not a chance in hell that Harbough would waste his time on a running back like Beanie. Beanie represents everything Harbough is not - you know, toughness...

I personally hope he kills us each time we play them. We do such stupid stuff sometimes, we need to have it slap us in the face in order to maybe some day learn. To think any team could get him for a 6th round pick and we spent a high first to get Floyd last year. Where is the justice?

Now watch Beanie run for 1200 or 1400 yds this year and help his new team to the playoffs.

I swear that there is just something about the Cards that brings out the worst play and worst health in players. If there is anything truly as a team who is jinxed, it is the Cards or no one.

I'm glad he got his ring with the Ravens, but if he's really a fuglywhiner now, I hope he never sees another one.
