He seems overly critical of the Seattle cornerbacks instead of realizing Fitz and Q are doing this to almost every defense in the league...

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/jerrybrewer/2008399459_brewer17.html

excerpt:

All game, Boldin and partner Larry Fitzgerald whipped the Seattle cornerbacks with their superior size and rare skill. For that reason, the Seahawks have no realistic chance to run down Arizona in the division.

It remains to be seen whether this coup d'état lasts, but after watching Boldin and Fitzgerald flick off their smaller counterparts, one thing is discernible: The Seahawks face a confounding task trying to wrest their dominance from these sure-handed receivers.

No longer are the Cardinals the bad team with two dangerous weapons. No longer can you give Boldin and Fitzgerald their yards and still expect to win. No longer can you anticipate a poor offensive line or an aloof quarterback to prevent them from maximizing their talent.

The nightmare is real now. And the Seahawks, who discount the importance of height at cornerback, aren't built to handle Boldin and Fitzgerald.

to me that sounds like "Holy Crap. The Cards have people to back up the best receiver duo in the league, and now, we cant let them get theirs and still expect to win. What now?" I have NO problems with that assessment.

Superior size, rare skill, sure-handed, dangerous weapons.

Sounds pretty complimentary to me.

It's obviously biased, if he was being truthfull he would of just advocated a division switch.:D

"These guys are going to get their catches against everybody," coach Mike Holmgren said. "They are that good."

They're even better against corners who need assistance reaching the top of the cupboard
I like this line!

That's a defeatist attitude in Seattle, the Cardinals have had their two amazing receivers now for a number of years and this year will be the first divisional win.

Good. Be defeated. We'll see you in a few weeks and you can stay that way.

The difference this year is they have a QB who gets them the ball and they have an offensive coordinator who knows how to use them. And the pass protection is much improved over previous years.

Brian Baldinger had a feature on the Cardinals passing game on NFC playbook a couple weeks ago. The Cardinals routes and schemes are incredibly sophisticated. Even good defenses will struggle against this offense when it's firing on all cycinders.
