Air Force again chop blocked two Notre Dame starters into surgeries. We lost the junior TE who was having a great season and was Quinn's dump-off guy and a starting DB off an already bad defense.

USC will kill us. By the way, the Irish are 94th in the NCAA in giving up sacks. It's amazing Quinn is still healthy.

Given USC plays ND the week after Cal, I kind of expect they will be ripe for a letdown.

USC has an amazing schedule this year in terms of luck, all the tough games wound up being played at home except for arkansas, they got Oregon, Cal and ND in a row at home.

It's not luck, it's because they played all those teams on the road last year.

But it's luck in that they were much better last year. If they had last years schedule this year, they might lose 4 games.
