You can be a bad coach and still win "Coach of the year" if your team improved enough.
Last season the other teams anouncers were already giving Frank Johnson a lot or props and Byron Scott was a serious candidate the last 2 years as well.

And although I don't really like FJ , he is still a young coach and there is no doubt that we should expect him to grow as a coach and become a better coach.

Suns getting into the Western Conference Finals might be a best case scenario but I firmly believe that if we face the Spurs again in the playoffs they will be upset.
The Mavericks were never really a bad matchup for the Suns either.

50+ wins should definately be the goal this season. It would have been possible this year already if Penny stayed healthy and the team had more expierence to close out some games like the one against Denver and other bad teams.

ok here is my predictions:
-kobe gets 20 years for rape.
-lakers without kobe go down in flames because the glove and malone wont play the triangle. shaq misses 10 games after malone hits him in the head with a elbow.
-zarko shocks everyone with his play at center.
-amare gets 17 and 9.5 per game.
-a to z becomes the new al macoy byline
-joe johnson still wont get the credit he deserves for being a very good team player.
-googs wont be traded. (jc promised him that he wont trade him, to get him to sign here).
-hardaway missed 24 games with a knock to the head, and ends up with the bobcats in the expansion draft.
-suns will get a lot of press because of them being the next sacramento kings (young and fun to watch).
-big jake will get a new contact for 1.5 million a year and show that he is has some of the worst hands in the nba.

i guess that is enough.

This thread, which I believe I have somehow contributed to, has become completely unfollowable, and for that I apologize.
