Boss (Starz)

New show starring Kelsey Grammer as mayor of Chicago. I'm guessing not a lot of people will watch it, at least not right away, since it's on Starz, but I think they are hoping this will be their Sopranos/Dexter/Mad Men. Already 18 episodes have been ordered (2 seasons).

After watching the first episode (directed by Gus Van Sant, btw) this show has the potential to be really good. We haven't had a good show that centered around politics and corruption since The Wire, and it looks like Boss will take a similar approach to the subject. Boardwalk Empire is another good comparison, but Boss takes place in present day.

I don't know, but she's way hotter now than she was on 90210. Liked the first episode, too. KG really pulls off the character well.

It's possible, although they haven't hinted at that yet.

Certainly too early to tell but with the way they have portrayed the mayor I wouldn't be too surprised. Especially with the whole ear gift scene and his non-reaction reaction.

This has the makings to be a very good show.

Really liking it so far, three episodes in. Homeland is still my pick for best new show, but this isn't far behind.
