Jason Cole, of the Miami Herald, reports discussions intensified Thursday, March 11, about a possible trade for WR David Boston between the Miami Dolphins and the San Diego Chargers. Dolphins head coach Dave Wannstedt spoke to Boston personally, and the Dolphins have talked directly to the Chargers and to Boston's agent. A deal could be finalized by Monday, March 15. The Dolphins are considering what type of contract to give Boston, who is slated to make $6.9 million over the next two years.

Picturing Boston living in Miami puts a rye smile on my face. I think it's the perfect scene for him.......neon Leon comes to life reincarnated in the body of David Boston. This hiring will be undoing of Wannsteadt, if it happens.

I'll bet he adopts a Cuban accent and becomes a bodyguard for some drug running pimp with homosexual tendencies.

I hate to sound morbid but Miami could be DB's last stop. Unless he has grown up dramatically a kid like that can find a lot of trouble in a city like Miami.

Just read on another message board that Chris Mortenson is reporting the 49ers are close to closing a deal with SD for Boston. Could get done today, so he says.

Why get rid of one head case for another? That's like curing your headache with a few sharp blows to the head with a 2X4.

On a lighter note, I'd love to see Wilson lay the wood to DBo twice a season, Jed Weaver-style (the hit, not the kick to the head).

Maybe David isn't aware that the Feds already raided Balco in Burlingame?

I haven't heard that rumor locally but it wouldn't stun me, the 49ers are desperate for WR's right now.

I heard a radio host here in Phoenix on the radio speculating that it would not work if you moved lj shelton to the right side (lj is our current left tackle)..the radio host (cannot remember which one) was saying gallery would be the left tackle if the Cardinals drafted him.......so I assume he is a left tackle..

Not sure why you could not move shelton..but that is what the guy was saying - not sure I agree with his theory..

I would say that "obsessed" is a little strong. If you review my posts you'll note that I mention it only when referencing miami or Dbo (which happens to be more frequently lately with the draft and FA prominent topics).

All kidding aside, cocaine is extremely destructive. I wouldn't mess with it.
