Marbury's numbers.

The 3/4 court press worked wonders.

Is this real? Or was this some joke being played on us by ESPN and other online play-by-play sites??

holy crap... that was awesome

play of the game.. JJ with the slam.. that reminded me of last year when JJ had a similar dunk against the clips

hopefully this game will bring the suns together as a team

No, it's real.

And, you're going to freak when you see JJ's baseline move.

Jacobsen keeps on coming in the clutch....Marbury certainly proved his worth.....Hope this is the turning point they desperately needed....

Well I watched it on TV.

I wanted to turn it off. I'm glad I didn't.

I didn't give up and neither did the Suns.

Leander just reported that was the largest comeback in Phoenix Suns History.

They came back from -29, previous record -27.

I have mixed emotions about that. They should not have been down that much to begin with, but the comeback was awesome.

What a fantastic game! That said, they better not count on that press digging them out of trouble tomorrow night, or Jason Kidd and the Nets will eat them alive.

Stephon Marbury, Joe Johnson, and Casey Jacobsen were really something in that second half.

What has happened to Shawn Marion? He could not get a damn thing to fall in the basket tonight.

Great game. I guess I can go take that garden hose out of the exhaust pipe of my car. :)

any update on Amare - what did it look like when he went down? Nice to hear JJ had a facial - hopefully this can be a season turner - man do they need it.

It looked like Stoudemire had a sprained ankle. He was on the bench shortly after the injury (not in the locker room), so I don't think it was believed to be too serious. I don't think he came out to the bench for the second half, however. From where he was grabbing his leg, I'm guessing a high ankle sprain.

Didn't I hear that FJ said at half time.... You're not following the game plan so just go out & do whatever you want? I think this comeback was a result of playing mad, not a result of any coaching ability.

very good game after the first half was over. i really liked the trapping defense and the spacing was so much better in the second half. marion may not have shot well but he played the second half with a lot of heart. i really like what i saw out of barbosa tonight. that charging call on him was bull. watch that kid he is going to be special. the tripping seems to give this team a big boost of energy we need to do it more.

Wow! Nice comeback...

Deja Vu... just like last season at Boston. That commentater must hate us :) I watched last years game in Boston and remember it as being the most biased commentating i've ever heard in my life... Can only imagine what kind of fit Tommy had tonight.

Great comeback and win, but i'm far from convinced. Lets hope Suns show up in NJ like they did in this 2nd half.

I'm not sure how the Suns did it, but apparently they won in Boston tonight and also lost to New Jersey in front of only 3000 fans. Well, according to an article on ESPN they lost to NJ tonight.

http://espn.go.com/gen/news/2003/1205/1679302.html
A snowstorm in the Northeast resulted in basketball games being postponed and thoroughbred and harness racing canceled.

In addition, attendance dipped at games that did take place. Approximately 3,000 fans saw the Nets beat the Suns in East Rutherford, N.J.

I know I should not be correcting anyone's grammar, spelling, etc. , but I believe that is a "trapping" defense instead of a "tripping" defense. :)

That charging call against Barbosa was B. S.. There were a lot of bad calls and no calls in that game on both ends of the court. I saw Marbury go to the line a couple of times where nobody even came close to touching him. Of course that happens once or twice a game.

This Minnesota vs. Sacramento game is a lot of fun to watch.

Tommy actually agreed that Boston got away with that one :D
I thought it was pretty close and could of went either way, and the team that didn't get the call would of complained.

This was a great second half effort, unfortunatly we have to turn around and play tomarro night against and up tempo team, after trapping for 24 straight min tonight, we have got to be tired after this game. if they do have some carry over, they will have to fly on 100% adrenalin for the whole game, or they will play until they drop and just quit! Either way it should be a great game to watch/listen too! Oh wait!!! Thats tommarro's thread starter:shrug:
