“B.A. and the offensive guys – you know how offensive people are, they’re all divas, so they just stick to their little 'Yeah, we've got to do this, got to do that,’ ” Powers deadpanned. “You go in the defensive room and there’s boards being broken, stuff being thrown around a little bit. We went in there and didn’t even go over not one play. We all thought it was us. It wasn’t Washington. It was just the way we were playing – lackadaisical, just flat. The little speech we had by Bowles, it woke us up a little bit.”

Defensive tackle Tommy Kelly said a whiteboard in the defensive room at University of Phoenix Stadium died “a noble death” during Bowles’ comments

Classic!

"You coach football and give your team what they need,” Bowles said. “This isn’t gardening. Sometimes, coaches have to get loud.”

Me too. I looked up defensive stats everywhere he coached and ridiculed him and posted what a disaster it was going to be. LOL.

I'm wrong so often I should be drafting dudes.

(My favorite part isn't even the defensive guys, it's BA chuckling while giving an interview and saying he could hear it from the next room)

(BA is turning into my favorite Cardinals coach. He coaches his coaches. Gives them a broad picture. A philosophy, and then let's them coach. And seems to genuinely love it when his coach chews on them a little. I was skeptical but I'm turning into a huge fan)

I saw this on the bar to the right and initially read it as "Bowles kills a white BROAD during halftime"...

That would be at least an 8 game suspension.

Maybe if there was an elevator tape. Otherwise just an 8k fine. Unless he was high, then a year.

Tommy Kelly is just been awesome for this team.

When both your DE's go down, and you have a guy like Kelly to keep the system stable, it is a feather in the cap of the front office.

Kelly's quotes are great.

Noble death...lol.

I seriously want Kelly back next year along with Dockett. I want Cro back as well. All three can contribute in my opinion for at least another two years. I know it all comes down to Fitz but I completely dig Tommy, 90 and Cro :)

Fitz is gone. BA made him expendable with his awesomeness.

BA's next man up just proves Fitz is way overpaid. I don't see any way he's a Cardinal next year. BA will play with 3rd stringers before he pays anyone what Fitz is making.

He can make it work and more importantly he's shown Keim he can make it work, on the cheap.

This thought process makes me nervous. I agree Fitz is gone, but you don't lose a guy like Fitz and just keep going (we all thought that when we lost Boldin). If Fitz is gone, I'd like to draft another receiver in the 1st or 2nd round.

except boldin was still a good player when we lost him

IMO he is the NFL's version of Tim Duncan. I am hoping he takes a pay cut. If not...... He's probably gone.

I don't care about the white board, but I really like how Bowles really understand how to push this team. He knows what to say and when to say it when it comes to motivating them. That is a special talent when it comes to motivating professionals.
