Thought this was a nice story. :)

Mohamed Sanu, a wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons, had an uneventful flight recently. Or so he thought.

He studied his playbook. He snacked on a banana and some cran-apple juice. And then, when he disembarked, a woman who had been sitting behind him handed him a note. She said “read it later, and walks away,” Sanu later tweeted.

The note, which Sanu posted to Twitter, began, “You don’t know us. But we wanted to thank you.”

I have no clue what's wrong with me, but the first thing that stood out when I read this is that she doesn't know how to write a lowercase F and in one odd case wrote in an uppercase E when it wasn't needed.

Anyways, that aside, nice note.

Interesting observations...she also misspelled "healthy".

As one who combines cursive and printing, as she does, that is not uncommon, particularly if you are left handed.

LOL.

The people who are linguistically sensitive, I feel for you.

Same thing happens to me when I see poor electrical work......drives me nuts.

That's funny. The first thing I thought was, "Why is an NFL wide receiver flying in coach?"

to pile on this thread, and to add a local touch:

a coworker of mine and her 11 year old son were returning from St Louis to the valley after spring break --- in the airport, the son noticed Marcus Golden sitting at the gate. After permission from mother, the boy approached Golden to say hello and let him know he was a fan.

Golden couldnt have been more gracious and appreciative -- spent time chatting with the boy, took a photo with him, etc -- told him that at the next game, he would sign gear.

so -- my coworker is now probably a bigger Cardinal / Marcus Golden fan than her son just based on how personable and nice Marcus was with her son.

And I hugged his Mom in Miami, just a wonderful lady. I told her that her son was a good man and that she did a great job raising him. All she kept saying was that it was a blessing, when talking about the fans, the turn out in Miami, and her son of course.

This is great. Sounds like the whole family is living up to its name. ;)

I've always unconsciously done this. Who knew it is attributable to being left handed?

Thanks!

Great, based on those mistakes
Are we going to trace a
psychological profile ?
You could probably make a psychological profile on me & solar from our observations more easily.

If you knew how long I've stared at that last sentence and debated if it's proper grammar you'd have me committed.

I should have noted that I loved the story, and was not, in any way, trying to take away from it. I am a firm believer in telling people nice things you notice about them, especially strangers. I think it makes the world a better place.

I'm right handed and do it. Maybe we can work on a pitching rotation. :)

Come on man, we always knew there was something wrong with you...:lmao:

PS hope to see you this year as well.

How I look at your snarky comment is like this.... Big Tree Fall Hard... you being the big tree!!

I think the only game I'll be at this year is the Gints at Christmas... so far anyway.
