PEORIA — The Bradley Braves will host the North Alabama Lions at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the first round of the 2025 National Invitation Tournament, it was revealed Sunday night.
The Braves (26-8) finished as the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament runner-up earned an automatic bid as an "exempt team" under the tournament's new rules.
North Alabama (24-10) finished at 14-4 in the Atlantic Sun Conference, tied with Lipscomb with the best record in the league.
The Braves went to the NIT last season and beat Loyola Chicago in the first round at Carver Arena, then lost a second-round matchup to Cincinnati. Two years ago, Bradley went to the NIT and lost a first-round game at Wisconsin.
