Simply, thumbs up for the way the guy is playing with Lenon out. Night and day from last year and it is amazing what having a better grasp of the playbook did for him.

With both Bradley and Reggie Walker making plays, Lenon may have a tough time getting back in when he's healthy...

Have you all noticed that the more ASFN bags on a guy the better he Plays the next game. And that we start calling the team out for resting on their laurels and being soft the better and tougher they play? Except for Kevin Kolb that is.

He was so good tonight, I wonder what the hell was going on with him last year?

It's hard to imagine him not starting.

Bradley is playing like a man possessed (one of my sleeper picks for the season). I only saw one bad play from him tonight when he took a wrong angle on Darren McFadden running weakside in the 1st quarter. Other than that, he's been virtually flawless. Great tackling, good positioning, and running on high octane fuel every time he steps onto the field.

But Kolb did play better today if you compare and contrast the other two preseason games, he had a scoring drive lol

I didn't see the game but the stats show that Quan Sturdivant had a nice game. Did he play well?

That's why I had no hope for him this year, because he was clueless last year. I figured if a rookie could pick up the defense and do well, a vet had no excuse not to do so as well. Thankfully, he's proving me wrong so far. If our players get better by proving me wrong, I hope I'm wrong more often :D

Bradley: He now seems to have returned to his pre-concussion form in Philly. I liked him then and now.

Bradley is the starter, and looks to be a playmaker at the position. Lenon outplayed expectations, but has never been a playmaker. I like him as depth.

I'm really psyched to see Bradley emerge. I thought the position was one that really needed an upgrade in the draft. Now I'm glad we didn't get Keuchley (although, I still think he's going to be a stud).

I'll be happier than a pig in slop to eat a banquet full of crow if he plays this well during the season. The guys been an absolute stud in the preseason.

The difference really is that he has finally learned the gaps in Hortons system. He has them committed to memory and is playing on instinct instead of tryin to over think. I don't think we will see a drop off in the season.

I dunno.. it would still potentially be tough to bump a guy as respected by his teammates as Lenon is from the lineup, I'd bet (not that all of the guys wouldn't want the best guys to help them win on the field).

Last year, I thought Bradley would be used all over the field at ILB and OLB positions and kind of be the first guy off the bench at pretty much all of the LB positions (obviously didn't really turn out that way). What are thoughts about using him this way vs. straight up replacing Lenon? Given that I still don't feel there's 100% certainty we will be able to generate a consistent pass rush from the OLB position, if he is able to help in this area - I think he might be able to make a bigger contribution in a "rover" type role than just plugged in full time at ILB.

I haven't seen much of the games but the reports you guys give are glowing. However, after last year's debacle, I'm tempering any enthusiasm until he does it when it matters.

If he starts playing better, I'll have to find someone else to rip on. But that could be a good thing. A couple years ago I complained that AW was done and should be cut. He proved me wrong. I said Rhodes would be a waste and he's played decent. Now Bradley may turn it around. Who's next? Schoefield? I would say Todd Heap but I think he's a lost cause.

Bradley is looking so much better than last year. Filling holes and making plays.
Makes you wonder whether there's a back story.

It's hard to accept that he's made a 180 in the off season strictly because he knows his gap responsibilities better.

Injury? Personal issues? Conditioning?

Whatever - i guess we should just be happy he's playing lights-out. (Still, I can't help wondering...).

Just like most players he is finally a full two year sremoved from his major knee surgery is well. Which is the time frame it takes many to be fully healthy and confident.
