and I discussed on TV, the word among teams interested in Tom Brady were among the impression that Brady wanted to bring Antonio Brown with him to a new team. Brown is still under investigation, and remains to be seen when he can play. But Brady is close with him
Many stories about the reason Tommy left N E for Tampa. Storyline I go with is mine;
Tommy felt underappreciated by salary structure at N E and he was shortchanged. Tampa Bay gave him $ 30mm /year in a state income tax free Florida rather than California. With his and the wifey's salaries and a Florida residence it was all about the money as it always is. Greed ... yup but that is how the world works. Never enough. I suspect a scenario where he and Tampa aren't going to get a ring. Happy life Tommy.
I don’t think state tax was the reason for a guy worth 180 million already and has given his former team multiple hometown discounts over the career. Add in the 400 million his wife is already worth. I really don’t think state tax is gonna be an all swaying decision. Call me crazy.

L A Chargers or Tampa Bay Bucs? He's got maybe 2 years left in career and TB12 afterwards. Talk to his accountant and get back to this post.
Funny thing about rich people is it's never enough and they don't give it away.That’s great. Still not buying it. He shown that he has no problem leaving money on the table. He already Uber Uber Uber rich. I’m willing to bet geographic location to the east coast is what was the deciding factor.
"I think that the Patriots realized that," he said, "it's time for them to get on with their future, which is Jarrett Stidham. I think it's time for them to change what they do offensively around a younger, mobile, multi-dimensional player in terms of footwork, and stay away from the intellectual type that they've had."
That's strong commentary on a player who was selected in the fourth round — not typically where faces of franchises are plucked — of last year's draft out of Auburn. But the Patriots have yet to make a move in free agency for a veteran passer, and unless they swing a deal for a starting-caliber player, their inaction would serve as a tacit acknowledgement that Stidham is believed to be a real option to start in 2020.
They aren't tanking. Belichick said back in 2014, after drafting Jimmy Garoppolo, that he didn't want to be the Colts when they lost Peyton Manning.
If I were TB...I would go after Kareem Hunt.
That offense would be unstoppable.

Even though the state of Texas did not have an income tax, he still had to pay the various state income taxes applied to each away game in each location except for Florida, Illinois, Washington state, and Washington, D.C. (as an American League player, he would visit the three states every season). It is estimated that Rodriguez paid $520,000 a year for state income taxes outside his own state.
