Sounds like a BS story to me. He slipped on a McDonalds wrapper? What was he doing? Filming a Keystone Cops skit? Who really does that?

Not to mention, he said his arm went through an entertainment center, and that cut him. So he was inside? So he slipped on a Mcdonalds wrapper that was just laying on the floor in his house?

Seems like a load to me. He was doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing.

Was it Thomas Jones or Garrison Hearst that "fell" while answering the phone? And what was Calvin Pace doing again when he cut his arm? I pride myself in a good nose for BS (after listening to sailors excuses and contractor lies for the past 2 decades) so I'm throwing the BS flag out on this one. These stories cold come right out of the Kennedy BS bible.

Maybe it's a fishy story and maybe it's not, but what's with all the holier-than-thou attitudes? We don't read about freak accidents happening every day? Nothing's every happened to any of you that would sound weird and stupid? I'm not confirming the veracity of his statement, but wow, do you guys jump hard and fast to conclusions.

and no one here has mentioned Calvin Pace yet!!!!

you're kidding me people....

he slipped and fell threw the window was his orig. story for a week...till the facts came out that he was wrestling ...

many of the fools here backed him up saying, 'it's possible.'

turn off the ******** side of your brain and again this is another fool trying to get his name off the press....it can't be true.

Exactly my point. Sounds like there are details in this story that are being left out. I'm just saying it doesn't sound believable to me. All I'm saying is it sounds like there is more to the story, nothing else.

Considering all these guys have clauses in their contracts, that prohibit doing crap like..pick-up basketball games, motorcycles, skydiving, punching your kids mother in the face etc.. When they tell these unbelievable stories, forgive us if we find them...well, unbelievable.

I bet you anything if there wasn't so much press surrounding Big Ben and Kellen Winslows accidents, you would have heard some whoppers there too.

We also don't get paid millions of dollars for our atheletic ability either. You would think you would be a little more careful, as well as coordinated, if your were a professional athelete.

I don't think it is "hoiler-than-thou" as much as the story stinks of lies, and stupidity.

"Hey Teapot, you're black!"

Thanks, jerk. I guess you never had a silly accident? That's all I'm saying. Deride someone for a stupid accident, as if it couldn't happen to you? Absolutely sounds holier-than-thou to me. I'm not trying to act the saint, though, as you seem misguided enough to believe. Just pointed out the hypocrisy is all. And I didn't comment that I believed he was innocent or guilty. I'm just saying people are jumping to a lot of conclusions. But I guess that's something that people should childishly rip you for.

Wow.... I was just saying that I'm an old pro at sniffing out BS and this sounds like a winner! I didn't mena to hit anyone's nerves.

Here's a recent BS story I was involved in: Just a few weeks back a sailor popped positive on a drug screen and his excuse was "someone must have put something in my drink." I dug a little harder and he said that he felt that he'd been drugged a few weeks back after sharing drinks at a club. Who shares drinks I asked myself? And what type of drug was it? And furthermore if you think you were drugged why didn't you report it?!!! So a few days go by. His story begins to change, bit by bit... especially after I call in some doctor friends (with this guy's consent) and find out that the quantities of cocaine in his blood are not consistent with the "a few weeks ago" part, nor the "put it in my drink" part. By the time we go to court, he's saying he licked it off of some strippers chest. After he's found guilty and kicked out of the Navy, I corner him and ask what really happened, and he tells me he's been snorting the stuff for years and just now got caught.

I hear crap like this all of the time.

Bally’s Sports needs to go away
please say its so

Okay, I so want this story to be true.

Injuring yourself on a McDonalds bag is amazing... it is even better than injuring yourself answering a phone or washing your car. I'm also pleased its not one of our players this time.

Shefter just reported that it has been confirmed that Marshall was in fact wrestling with some family members when his arm went through an entertainment center. He severed tendons and arteries and required not only stiches but surgery as well. He is expected to miss a minimum of three months.

Hmm.. seems I was right. I'm just sayin..
