Anything above 5 wins would suprise me; but it is preseason and hope springs eternal.

After the up-comming 0-4 start we will be begging for a win from the Panthers.

This. Simply saying "the running game can't be any worse" or Carson Palmer/Bruce Arians is not really stating reasons why the team will surprise.

true...but it depends on what kind of 8-8 it is. if it's an 8-8 sprinkled with a couple signature wins against SF/Seattle, I think people look at us as the up and comer next year and a "scrappy" spoiler towards the end of the year.

Buffalo, Jax and Tenn are definitely in that no man's land with us of "are they still in the league" league.

I think if we end up 8-8 but our offense is exciting and dynamic with lots of big plays, the rest of the nation will quickly pick up on it.
