Meh. It's Oxnard. Probably not even the best brawl of the day in that city. :D

The Rams need to save those shenanigans for their games against the Seahawks.

I watched the NFL channel, who had some coverage of the joint practice. And it looked to me that Dez Bryant was looking for a fight. It got to a point that the Rams' coach, Fisher, was watching the drills, standing between his DB's and the Cowboy WR's. But, like I said, I didn't watch a video of the fight. This is the main reason why I don't like joint practices.

Didn't this happen with the Cowboys and someone else during joint drills last year? Oakland, maybe?

The joint practices are trashing talking fests---and the coaches really don't have any control because there are 180 players and what 30 coaches?

Was watching the Texans' Hard Knocks episode one and of course DeAngelo Hall of the Redskins was giving the business to DeAndre Hopkins and I am saying to myself there is for sure going to be a fight---and sure enough---it turned into an all-out brawl.

if it were me as coach, I wouldn't want my players anywhere near another team's players unless it is in a pre-season or regular season game with a crew of officials.

What these brawls actually prove is why we see so many players getting in trouble with the law---they are big babies with hot tempers and no filters.

Slightly off-topic but: I know a couple of people who have been at the Rams' practices. They said fans are showing up in their old L.A. Rams gear and chanting "L.A. Rams! L.A. Rams!"

There's definitely a feeling of optimism in the air that the team will return. (I hope, I hope, I hope.)

I cant stand LA teams because they have such a thuggish fanbase. To this day when we play the rams (and I go) I am always surrounded by drunken gangbangers looking for fights.

I grew up a Rams fan and had season tickets when they played in Anaheim Stadium. Very few thuggish fans in those days. The thuggish fans were all walking around wearing Raiders t-shirts that said "Commitment to Excellence" and looking like they... weren't.

Why do they even bother doing joint drills and practices? What does it accomplish?

Whoever came up with the idea of this kinda thing has to be a complete idiot.

Just practice vs your own team. Play games vs other teams.
