Holy crap! Where? I was thinking this would make a nice b-day gift for my recently retired dad.

Sorry bro not a store. Private deal amongst friends.

Suns sweep and Breaking Bad comes on and Walt gets all of the help tv magic can muster.

Oh well, Gus is pure evil and that last phone call was an awesome scene.
I don't think evil. when I think of Gustavo. More like genius. I am starting to think he has some link to the DEA. Actually, I have thought that for awhile. Maybe some deep rooted mole whose job is to bust up the Mexican connection.

Holy crap, Gus may be the biggest bad-ass in television history. For how slow this episode truly was it was fantastic. Finally got to see Marie which was nice to see. I think the only character left who hasn't really been explored is Walt Jr. (who I would absolutely love to see an episode focused on him since he is so far on his dad's side it isn't funny). I guess you could say Mike hasn't been explored but I don't know if he needs to, though I would add he could be the second biggest bad-ass on tv since he is so freaking awesome.

I love how Jesse is just a little kid playing with all his new shiny toys. Each of those we very well done and who ever chooses the music needs a raise.

He's both evil and a genius. You don't think he's going to hold all of this over Walt's head in order to make sure he gets what he wants? Walt is now in his debt for 1) sending Tuco's cousins away from him and 2) giving the warning that saved his brother-in-law's life. He gets what he wants, when he wants and hides in plain sight while doing it with an insanely cool demeanor.

All of Jessie's scenes were great. "Tell your brother-in-law to go towards the light"

I am trying to think outside the box. These writers have stretched the imagination so far, I would like to think there is a bombshell waiting to go off, and maybe it is Gus working for the DEA. That would be crazy. Did you check out next week's 3 minute sneek preview @ http://www.amctv.com/videos/breaking-bad/?bcpid=9787693001&bclid=50629287001&bctid=83695465001

Jesse is totally whacked now.

Someone just told me that I missed a very important scene. When " the patient" ( heh heh ) flat lined, was Saul's dirty tricks guy, Mike "The Cleaner", in the background walking away, when the DEA guys stormed the room?

Mike definitely was the one who killed the last Cousin. I think you are forgetting that Mike works for Gus. He is the guy that Saul knows with a connection to Gus. There was a scene a few weeks back where Gus and Saul were talking about whether to deal with Jesse and Mike asked if he should tell Saul. Gus is clearly pulling all the strings as of right now.

As for him in the DEA there is no way that could be possible (though I'm sure the writers could come up with a great way for it to happen). As he said to Walt he hides in public. He covers all his bases and has been shown to be a big supporter to the DEA since we met him. I read a review where they talked about how in the flashback last week, where the cousins were kids and Tio was still running the show talked about how he was weary of working with the 'chicken man.' He mentioned he was a southerner so the reviewer thought Gus could have connections to a larger cartel, like the Colombian mob.

Just finished season 1. I like it. I like it a whole lot. Bryan Cranston is awesome. But unless it gets much better it still doesn't top Soprano's, The Wire or Sons of Anarchy IMO.

Definitely glad I bought them though!

Each season has gotten better and the run the 3rd season is on has been out of this world. Stick with it and you won't regret it.

Another fantastic episode. A couple of things:
-During Skyler's talk about Walt's gambling, Bryan Crantson's delivery of "I'm very good at it" had me laughing for a long time.
-In that same talk Skyler telling Walt she learned from the best, perfect thing to say at that moment.
-Jesse's speech at the rehab meet was yet another amazing speech delivered by Jesse. Aaron Paul just amazes me each week. At the beginning of this show I thought he was going to be the weak link, boy was I wrong.
-Loved the Pollos Hermanos commercial. I really want to go get some chicken now but all we have is KFC and I highly doubt that is anywhere near the quality of the chicken Gus puts out.
-Nice to see Walt finally learn about the drug trade. Him being able to connect all the dots back to Gus and admit he would have done the same thing is a big transformation for him. He has always been naive about the business side.
-Can't see things ending well for Badger and Skinny Pete. As Walt mentioned Gus has a monopoly on meth in the US. How will he react when he finds his own product being sold by a couple of morons.
-Evil Jesse is back with a vengeance. I don't know if I saw anything more evil than Jesse's smile at the end of the rehab meeting where Badger and Skinny Pete are pretty much selling the meth.

Talking to a friend last night and he brought up something that could be Walt's undoing that happened in this most recent episode.
We were talking about Skyler's speech and how Marie bought it hook, line, and sinker. But what happens when Hank gets healthy? He is obviously going to want to know how his medical bills were being paid for. I can't imagine he will buy that story and it could start connecting the dots that he was so close to connecting before the attack.

Hank ain't out of the water yet. He could end up like Tio, the bell tapper.

Such a simple episode but was fantastic. It is funny, I just watched the Seinfeld episode where they spent the entire show waiting for their table and this is pretty much the same idea, Walt and Jesse never leave the lab.

This episode was also two very different episodes. The first part was hilarious and some of the best comedy this series has offered up, especially some of Jesse's lines. Then it turned serious and absolutely amazing.

First was Jesse's monologue about his aunt which just continues his outstanding performance this year. Then Walt got his turn and it showed why, for my money, Bryan Cranston is the best actor going right now. His speech about when he should have died had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what info he was going to divulge to Jesse.

As I said earlier, such a simple little episode but it was done so well. There are only three episodes left to go this season and I have no clue on how they will end this season.

Here's how I imagine how this episode went down:

A day before Prep, the Line Producer took a look at the financials from the first half of the season and almost killed himself. He walked down to Vince's office, freaked out and told him there was no way in hell they'd be able to do the season finale with the costs over-running as they are. Vince looked at him, looked at the numbers, then called the writers and said: Page one-rewrite. Give me a one-act play, one location two actors... and get it to me tomorrow.

That what that episode felt like to me... experimental and without a doubt budget driven. Still really good though.

If anyone is interested Alan Sepinwall breaks down how a 'bottle' show works. Pretty interesting read.
