Considering Godley has not allowed more than 3 runs in any of his 7 starts I also agree that it really should be between Corbin and Delgado. If we are still in good shape a month from now I hope we can get a decent pitcher. 3.8ish ERA compared to Corbins 9+ over the last 6 weeks could result in in a WAC (Wins above Corbin) of about 4-6 at the end of the year. Another cool thing is we hit record attendance of 43k Saturday night which was the most in 4 years. We keep winning at this rate and maybe we can spend a little more next year!

Was at the game today and it was AWESOME! First time I have seen Ray pitch this year. He was electric, especially in the final 2 innings or so he pitched! I thought a few of the pitches that were called balls could've easily been strikes (was sitting 10 rows up behind home plate). Nonetheless, he is officially a full blown major league ace! His off-speed stuff today was incredible and then later in his start it seemed he picked up his pace and just started throwing bee bee's!
De la Rosa's whiff of Thames was so damn huge! Chase Anderson was nails as well. Damn he's turned into a very, very good pitcher! But once he was pulled, our guys unloaded!
13 games above 500 on June 11th! Never, ever could've convinced me that this was possible at the start of the season. Man this summer is going to be great!! Let's get Pollack back in in the line-up. Give Godley a fulltime starter role. Move Corbin to the pen. And enjoy the ride!!

Fuentes and Blanco have been great in replacing Pollack. I hope when he gets off the DL they can keep both Fuentes and Blanco on the team.

They both have filled in admirably for sure! But they are nowhere near the level of all-around player that Pollack is... My hunch is that Blanco will stay and Fuentes will be sent down...

I've always liked Blanco even when he was a Giant. The guy is just a tough out,,, plus if we do make a playoff run, it's not bad to have a guy with multiple rings on the roster.

Yep. And one other thing that stood out to me today, and it's been mostly true all season long...is that we really don't have one slot in our order that can be considered an "easy out." It seems like every batter we bring to the plate constantly grinds out a tough, high-quality at bat. Even Ahmed, who in years past was a massive hole in our line-up.
I guess this season Tomas could be considered one of the weaker batters in terms of quality. And Descalso as well... and Mathis when he's in. But that's getting pretty darn picky... Overall, this year's offense is way more consistent at the plate than in prior years.
