At Texas Tech, with their vaunted passing attack, they have a 5-8 WR named Eric Morris whom they call The Elf....

He's their Wes Welker....

Imagine what kind of an impact adding Lance Long, our Elf, to this offense...

He's a classic slot WR with velcro hands...and sneaky speed...

I'd rather the Cards feather their passing attack nest than anything else...why not go hog wild?

Get Early Doucet in there too...

Throw the ball, Redbirds!!!

No thank you.

5'8" ANYTHING wont last in this league. Ask Buster Davis

Fitz, Q, Breast, Urban, Early, Lance is more than enough.

edit: although I wouldnt mind that Crabtree fellow. :)

If we retain Boldin AND draft a WR next year it'll be a tremendous waste of a draft pick.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear...I want the Cardinals to activate Lance Long to the roster and play him in the slot at times.

And throw it and throw it and throw it!!!

So you want to make the best passing attack in the league into the bestest(for lack of a better word) passing team in the league?

I am confused why we think we need help in the passing attack?

Let's keep loading the wagon...The Elf, a.k.a., Lance Long, could be yet another option in the flats and over the middle.

In vogue: Texas Tech and the Arizona Cardinals...

Its not like hes saying to draft the kid.. we already have our elf! Sure, our passing attack doesn't need help.. but if its already in house, why not? Imagine Spreading 5 Wide with Boldin, Fitz, Breaston, Doucet, and Long. You'd have the opposing D.C. steal a flag, spray paint it white, and start waving it!

DeShaun Jackson can't be much taller than 5'8".

Darren Sproles is a shortcake. My initial thoughts was that Sims was that short, but he's listed at 6'.

I wanted a sortable list of players by height, but alas I could not find one.

Santana Moss is about 5'8
Steven Smith is listed at 5'9
Shaun McDonald is listed around 5'9
Zack Thomas is about 5'9
Troy Palamalu is around 5'9

These guys aren't prototypical size but the do play with desire. Size definitely helps but that can't be the only thing you have going for you at any level of football.

We ain't me!! If the team did anything it should be in the areas of obvious weakness. Gotta' go 4-3 over the next 7 games.
